憎惡人的用話語掩飾自己，心裡卻存著詭詐。他的話語雖然動聽，你不可信他，因為他心裡有七樣可厭惡的事。他的怨恨雖然以詭詐掩飾，但他的邪惡必在大會中顯露出來。

他們各人反被自己的舌頭所害，必然跌倒；所有看見他們的，都必搖頭。

約押對亞瑪撒說：“我的兄弟，你好嗎？”約押用右手握住亞瑪撒的鬍子，要與他親吻。亞瑪撒沒有防備約押手中的刀，約押用這刀刺進他的肚子，他的內臟就流在地上。不用再刺第二刀，亞瑪撒就死了。約押和他的兄弟亞比篩繼續追趕比基利的兒子示巴。

出賣耶穌的人給他們一個暗號，說：“我跟誰親吻，誰就是他；你們可以抓住他。”他立刻前來對耶穌說：“拉比，你好。”跟著就與他親吻。
