约押对亚玛撒说：“我的兄弟，你好吗？”约押用右手握住亚玛撒的胡子，要与他亲吻。亚玛撒没有防备约押手中的刀，约押用这刀刺进他的肚子，他的内脏就流在地上。不用再刺第二刀，亚玛撒就死了。约押和他的兄弟亚比筛继续追赶比基利的儿子示巴。

出卖耶稣的人给他们一个暗号，说：“我跟谁亲吻，谁就是他；你们可以抓住他。”他立刻前来对耶稣说：“拉比，你好。”跟着就与他亲吻。
