彼彎舌如弓、以發誑言、在國中為強大、而不行信實、行惡有加無已、而不我識、耶和華言之矣、

耶和華曰、彼民逞舌妄言、若援弓發矢、言雖不誠、偏能得志、作惡無已、不識我道。

“ They make ready their tongue like a bow, to shoot lies; it is not by truth that they triumph in the land. They go from one sin to another; they do not acknowledge me,” declares the Lord.

“ They get ready to use their tongues like bows,” announces the Lord.“ Their mouths shoot out lies like arrows. They tell lies to gain power in the land. They go from one sin to another. They do not pay any attention to me.

They bend their tongue like a bow; falsehood and not truth has grown strong in the land; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they do not know me, declares the Lord.

“ My people bend their tongues like bows to shoot out lies. They refuse to stand up for the truth. They only go from bad to worse. They do not know me,” says the Lord.

They bent their tongues like their bows; lies and not faithfulness prevail in the land, for they proceed from one evil to another, and they do not take me into account. This is the LORD’s declaration.

“ They bend their tongues like their bows; Lies and not truth prevail in the land; For they proceed from evil to evil, And they do not know Me,” declares the Lord.

“ And like their bow they have bent their tongues for lies. They are not valiant for the truth on the earth. For they proceed from evil to evil, And they do not know Me,” says the Lord.

And they bend their tongue, as it were their bow, for falsehood; and they are grown strong in the land, but not for truth: for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith Jehovah.

The LORD says,“ These people are like soldiers who have readied their bows. Their tongues are always ready to shoot out lies. They have become powerful in the land, but they have not done so by honest means. Indeed, they do one evil thing after another and do not pay attention to me.

“ They bend their tongue, as their bow, for falsehood. They have grown strong in the land, but not for truth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they don’t know me,” says Yahweh.

其舌若毒箭、毒箭或作利箭專言詭譎、向人口言平康、心謀殘害、

斯代之人俱逝、俱逝原文作俱歸其祖後、別興一代、不知主、亦不知主為以色列人所行之事、

主曰、我民愚拙、俱不知我、蒙昧之子、毫無明哲、惟巧於行惡、不知行善、

失信逆主、不從我天主而退於後、所言者不義與悖逆、心懷詐偽之言、即出諸口、公平遠退、義理遙立、真實顛仆於街衢、正直欲入而不能、真誠不見、離惡者反受損害、其時主鑒觀、見無公義、則甚不悅、

其喉似已開之墓、其舌施詭詐、其唇藏蝮毒、

以利二子乃匪人、不識主、

故毋懼、爾較群雀貴焉、凡認我於人前者、我亦認之於我在天之父前、不認我於人前者、我亦不認之於我在天之父前、

主歟、救我脫離誑言之口、脫離詭詐之舌、舌詭詐者、主將何以報爾、將以何罰加於爾身、即勇士之利箭、利騰利騰又作羅騰小樹名松類之爇炭、

行詐之人乎、爾舌利如薙刀、捏造毒害之詞、爾好惡不好善、好虛誑不好誠實、細拉、爾舌奸詐、好出一切很毒之言、

耶穌曰、若我自榮、我榮則虛、榮我者乃我父、即爾所言為爾天主者、爾曹不識之、我識之、我若言不識、則為誑者如爾曹、但我識之而守其道、

可愛者乎、我既殷勤以書達爾、論我儕共得之救、於書內必當勸爾、為昔日一次所授聖徒之道、盡心爭辯、

凡在此姦惡之世、恥我及我道者、迨人子以父之榮、偕聖天使降臨時、亦必恥其人、

諸兄弟不貪生而冒死、賴羔之血、及所證之道而勝之、

凡事不為敵恐懼、如是、則明證彼必淪亡、爾必得救、皆由天主也、

此世之主此世之主即魔迷惑此等不信者之心、基督榮耀福音之光不照之、基督乃天主之像、我所宣者非己、乃主基督耶穌也、我因耶穌為爾僕、昔天主命光由暗而照、今照於我心、以光照人、使其知天主之榮、即在基督面所顯者也、

惟彼惡人及惑眾者、日增其惡、迷人而自迷、

夫永生者無他、即知爾為獨一真天主、且知耶穌基督爾所遣者、

各相欺誑、不言真實、舌習言誑、勞勞作惡、

主曰、當時兄弟鄰里、毋需彼此復誨曰、當識主、蓋自長至幼、無不識我、我將赦其愆、不復記憶其罪、

彼眾礪其舌鋒、猶如利刃、毒言出口、如箭離弦、暗中欲射正直人、突然射之、無所忌憚、

竟不領命、不傾耳以聽、乃強厥項、行惡甚於其列祖、

彼既不願存天主於念、天主聽其存邪僻之心、行所不當行者、

我不以基督福音為恥、因此福音、乃天主之大能以救諸信者、先猶太人、後希拉人、

以色列人乎、宜聽主言、主必鞫斯地居民、因斯地無誠實、無仁義、無人識天主、妄誓誑言、殺害盜竊、淫人妻室、淫人妻室或作姦淫強暴是行、徧處殺人流血、故土地淒涼、淒涼原文作悲哀居民衰殘、野獸與空中飛鳥亦然、海魚亦歸於烏有、

長者或作牧伯伸手索賄、以非為是、或作手皆行惡且盡力行之長者索賄士師審判求利、大夫所言惟私慾、彼此聯絡為非、若編繩索、彼所謂善者、等諸荊棘、彼所謂正者、同於蒺藜、或作彼之最善義者惟如荊棘彼之最正直者但如蒺藜爾中先知所言之日、即爾受罰之日速至、是時眾俱荒亂、勿信同儔、勿恃密友、或作謹防同儔勿信密友向眷愛之妻、亦謹守爾口、

爾手污以血、爾指染以孽、口出虛誑、舌施不義、其中無一人秉公而控、無一人據實而辨、俱恃虛浮、悉言詭譎、所懷者殘害、所生者邪慝、若伏蝮卵、若織蛛網、食其卵者必死、破其卵則蝮出、

彼為窮苦貧乏者伸冤、始能增福、識我亦在乎此、此乃主所言、
