Now hear the word of the Lord, you women, And let your ears receive the word of His mouth; Teach your daughters wailing, And have every woman teach her neighbor a song of mourning.

妇女们哪，你们当听耶和华的话，领受他口中的言语；又当教导你们的儿女举哀，各人教导邻舍唱哀歌。

先知曰、維爾眾女、耶和華之言、宜傾耳以聽焉、當令爾女舉哀、鄰里哭泣。

先知曰、惟爾眾婦、當聽主言、傾耳聽其口之語、當教爾女以舉哀、彼此相誨以謳哀歌、

Now, you women, hear the word of the Lord; open your ears to the words of his mouth. Teach your daughters how to wail; teach one another a lament.

You women, hear the Lord’ s message. Listen to what he’s saying. Teach your daughters how to mourn for the dead. Teach one another a song of sadness.

Hear, O women, the word of the Lord, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth; teach to your daughters a lament, and each to her neighbor a dirge.

Listen, you women, to the words of the Lord; open your ears to what he has to say. Teach your daughters to wail; teach one another how to lament.

Yet hear the word of Jehovah, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth; and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbor lamentation.

I said,“ So now, you wailing women, hear what the LORD says. Open your ears to the words from his mouth. Teach your daughters this mournful song, and each of you teach your neighbor this lament.

Yet hear Yahweh’s word, you women. Let your ear receive the word of his mouth. Teach your daughters wailing, and everyone teach her neighbor a lamentation.

Please receive instruction from His mouth, And put His words in your heart.

Now following Him was a large crowd of the people, and of women who were mourning and grieving for Him.But Jesus turned to them and said,“ Daughters of Jerusalem, stop weeping for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.For behold, days are coming when they will say,‘ Blessed are those who cannot bear, and the wombs that have not given birth, and the breasts that have not nursed.’Then they will begin to say to the mountains,‘ Fall on us,’ and to the hills,‘ Cover us.’

Rise up, you women who are at ease, And hear my voice; Listen to my word, You complacent daughters.Within a year and a few days You will be troubled, you complacent daughters; For the vintage is ended, And the fruit gathering will not come.Tremble, you women who are at ease; Be troubled, you complacent daughters; Strip, undress, and put sackcloth on your waist,Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine,For the land of my people in which thorns and briars will come up; Indeed, for all the joyful houses and for the jubilant city.

This is what the Lord of armies says:“ Consider and call for the mourning women, that they may come; And send for the skillful women, that they may come!Have them hurry and take up a wailing for us, So that our eyes may shed tears, And our eyelids flow with water.

Moreover, the Lord said,“ Because the daughters of Zion are haughty And walk with heads held high and seductive eyes, And go along with mincing steps And jingle the anklets on their feet,

And I will make mere boys their leaders, And mischievous children will rule over them,
