Oh, that I had in the desert a lodging place for travelers, so that I might leave my people and go away from them; for they are all adulterers, a crowd of unfaithful people.

I wish I had somewhere to go in the desert where a traveler could stay! Then I could leave my people. I could get away from them. All of them commit adultery by worshiping other gods. They aren’t faithful to the Lord.

Oh that I had in the desert a travelers’ lodging place, that I might leave my people and go away from them! For they are all adulterers, a company of treacherous men.

Oh, that I could go away and forget my people and live in a travelers’ shack in the desert. For they are all adulterers— a pack of treacherous liars.

If only I had a traveler’s lodging place in the wilderness, I would abandon my people and depart from them, for they are all adulterers, a solemn assembly of treacherous people.

( 9: 1) I wish I had a lodging place in the desert where I could spend some time like a weary traveler. Then I would desert my people and walk away from them because they are all unfaithful to God, a congregation of people that has been disloyal to him.

耶和华说：“耶路撒冷啊，我怎能赦免你呢？你的儿女背弃我，凭假神起誓。我供应他们的一切需要，他们却纵情淫乱，涌向娼妓的家。他们像吃得肥壮、发情的公马，垂涎邻居的妻子。

他们咒诅、撒谎、凶杀、偷窃、通奸，为所欲为，血案累累。

他们都是通奸之徒，就像热烘烘的烤炉，从揉面到面团发起，烤饼的人不用挑炉火。

你的弟兄和家人都背叛了你，与你作对。任他们甜言蜜语，你不要相信。

耶和华啊，每次我与你争论，都显明你是对的。然而，我还是对你的公正有所不解：为什么恶人总是得势？为什么诡诈之人反而生活安逸？

我寄居在米设和基达的人当中有祸了！我住在憎恶和平的人当中太久了。我爱和平，但我倡导和平的时候，他们却要战争。

他们对耶和华不忠，所生的是私生子，他们和他们的田地必在朔日被吞噬。

犹大人不忠贞，在以色列和耶路撒冷做了可憎的事，他们娶信奉外邦神明的女子为妻，亵渎了耶和华所爱的圣所。

可是，你们却如亚当一样背约，以诡诈待我。

你们这些对主不忠的人啊，难道还不明白与世俗为友就是与上帝为敌吗？所以，凡是与世俗为友的，都是上帝的敌人。

我真悲惨！就像夏天的果子已被收尽，葡萄已被摘净，找不到一串可吃的，寻不见我心中渴望的初熟无花果。虔敬人已从大地上灭绝，世间再没有正直人。人人伺机杀人流血，用网罗猎取自己的弟兄。他们善于作恶。领袖和审判官索要贿赂，显贵袒露心中的恶欲，朋比为奸。他们当中最好的不过是蒺藜，最正直的也不过是荆棘篱笆。你们的守望者所说的日子，就是你们受惩罚的日子已经来到。你们必惊慌失措。不要相信邻居，不要信赖朋友，即使对你怀中的妻子也要守口如瓶。因为儿子藐视父亲，女儿与母亲作对，媳妇与婆婆作对；家人之间反目成仇。至于我，我要仰望耶和华，等候拯救我的上帝；我的上帝必垂听我的祈求。

她的先知是狂妄诡诈之徒，她的祭司亵渎圣殿，违背律法。

啊，但愿我能像鸽子展翅飞去，得享安息。我要飞到远方，住在旷野。（细拉）我要赶快躲进避难所，避过暴雨狂风。

有人与继母通奸，羞辱父亲，有人奸污经期不洁的妇女，有人与邻居的妻子干出可憎之事，有人玷污自己的儿媳妇，有人奸污自己的同父姊妹。
