圍困這城的日子滿了，你要將三分之一在城中用燄火焚燒，將三分之一在城的四圍用刀剁碎，將三分之一給風吹散；我還要拔刀追趕他們。

你的三分之一必在你中間因瘟疫而死，因饑荒而消滅；三分之一必在你四圍倒斃於刀下；三分之一我必給四散於四方；我還要拔刀追趕他們。

我必使你們四散於外國中，我必拔刀來追趕你們，你們的地就荒涼，你們的城市就荒廢。

看吧，我在儆醒留意着他們、以降禍而不降福；在埃及地所有的猶大人都必因刀劍饑荒而滅亡，直到滅盡。

故此我必使你四散如碎稭，像被曠野的風吹過的一樣。

他們若問你說：「我們要出去到哪裏呢？」你便對他們說：「永恆主這麼說：『那該遭疫癘的，就遭疫癘；該被刀殺的、就被刀殺；該受饑荒的，就受饑荒；該被擄的，就被擄。』」』永恆主發神諭說：『我派了四種類來罰他們：刀劍來殺戮，狗來拖拉，空中的飛鳥和地上的野獸來吞喫來毁滅。我必使他們成了地上萬國所不寒而慄的對象，都因猶大王希西家的兒子瑪拿西的緣故，因為他在耶路撒冷行了惡事。

我必叫四面的風從天之四邊颳到以攔；將他們分散到四方，以致以攔被放逐的人沒有一國不到的。我必使以攔人在其仇敵面前驚慌，在尋索他們性命的人面前惶恐；我必使災禍、就是我的烈怒、臨到他們，永恆主發神諭說；我必打發刀劍追殺他們，直到將他們滅盡。

『我用旋風吹散他們到他們所不認識的列國去。這樣、國土在他們去後也就變為荒涼，甚至無人來回經過；因為他們使可喜愛之地荒涼了。』

或者我使刀劍臨到那地，說：願刀劍經過那地，好使我將人和牲口都從那裏剪除掉；

萬軍之永恆主就這麼說；看吧，我必打發刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫、來擊打他們，使他們像令人作嘔的無花果，壞到喫不得。

『永恆主必將你和你所立來管你的王領到你和你列祖素來不認識的國去；在那裏你必事奉別的神、是木頭石頭的。

我必打發刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫、來擊打他們，直到他們從我所賜給他們和他們列祖的土地上都滅絕了。』

我並且在曠野也曾向他們舉手起誓過要使他們分散在列國，使他們四散在列邦；

因此你要說，「主永恆主這麼說：我必從外族之民中招集你們，從你們分散到的列邦中聚集你們；我要將以色列地賜給你們。」

『永恆主必使你在仇敵面前被擊敗；你從一條路出去攻打他們，必由七條路、從他們面前逃跑；你竟要成為地上萬國所引為令人不寒而慄的例子。

『若不是我怕仇敵惹我發怒，我原想着說：「我必將他們割裂成塊，使他們的名號都滅絕於人間」；恐怕敵人判斷錯了，恐怕他們說：「是我們的手高舉起來作的，並不是永恆主行了這一切事啊。」

永恆主必使你們分散於萬族之民中；在永恆主所要領你們到的列國中、你們剩下的人數必稀少。

使他們的後裔分散在列國，四散在列邦。
