Oh, that my head were a spring of water and my eyes a fountain of tears! I would weep day and night for the slain of my people.

如果你们不听从，我必因你们的骄傲暗暗哭泣；我的眼必痛哭流泪，因为耶和华的羊群被掳去了。

因此我说：“要转开你们的眼，不要望着我，让我痛哭吧！不要因我人民的毁灭，而急急安慰我。”

我的同胞（“同胞”原文作“人民的女子”）啊！应当披上麻布，在灰尘中打滚，悲哀如丧独生子，号咷痛哭，因为有行毁灭的会突然攻击我们。

我的眼睛因流泪而失明，我的心肠激动，我的肝胆倾倒在地，都因我的子民（“我的子民”原文作“我子民的女子”）遭毁灭，孩童和婴儿在城里的街上昏倒。

我的眼泪像河水涌流，因为人都不谨守你的律法。

因着我的同胞（“同胞”原文作“人民的女子”）被压碎，我的心破碎了；我悲伤痛哭，惊慌抓住了我。难道基列没有乳香吗？难道那里没有医生吗？我的同胞（“同胞”原文作“人民的女子”）为什么总不痊愈呢？

因此，我要为西比玛的葡萄树哀哭，像雅谢人的哀哭一样。希实本和以利亚利啊！我要用眼泪浸透你；因为有吶喊的声音临到你夏天的果子和你收割的庄稼。

人子啊！至于你，你要叹息，在他们眼前弯着腰，苦苦叹息。他们如果问你：‘你为什么叹息呢？’你就要回答：‘是因为那将要来到的消息；人人都必心慌意乱，手都发软，精神衰颓，他们的膝都像水一般的柔弱。看哪！它要来到了。这事一定要成就。这是主耶和华的宣告。’”

“你要对他们说这话：‘愿我的眼泪直流，日夜不停；因为我的同胞（“同胞”原文作“人民的处女”）遭受极大的毁灭，受到很严重的打击。

人整天对我说：“你的神在哪里呢？”我就昼夜以眼泪当饭吃。

锡安居民（“居民”原文作“女子”）的城墙啊，你要一心向主哀求；愿你的眼泪像江河般涌流，昼夜不息；愿你得不着歇息，愿你眼中的瞳人不能休息。夜里每到交更的时分，你要起来呼喊；在主面前你要倾心如水！你的孩童在各街头上因饥饿而昏倒，你要为他们的性命向主举手祷告。

我的眼泪像江河流下，都因我的人民的灭亡。我的眼泪涌流不停，总不止息，

我的肺腑，我的肺腑啊！我绞痛欲绝。我的心哪！我的心在我里面颤抖，我不能缄默不语。我的灵啊！我听见了号角的声音，也听见了战争的吶喊。
