智者愧恥、驚惶而被執、彼既棄耶和華之言、其智維何、

智慧人惭愧，惊惶，被擒拿；他们弃掉耶和华的话，心里还有什么智慧呢？

智者迷惑愧恥、不勝憂疑、棄耶和華之道、鳥得為智。

自稱為智者、必愧怍驚恐而見拘、彼棄主言、焉得為智乎、

The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and trapped. Since they have rejected the word of the Lord, what kind of wisdom do they have?

Those who think they are wise will be put to shame. They will become terrified. They will be trapped. They have not accepted my message. So what kind of wisdom do they have?

The wise men shall be put to shame; they shall be dismayed and taken; behold, they have rejected the word of the Lord, so what wisdom is in them?

These wise teachers will fall into the trap of their own foolishness, for they have rejected the word of the Lord. Are they so wise after all?

彼行可惡之事、豈知恥乎、非也、毫不知恥、亦不赧顏、故必仆於仆者之中、我譴責之際、彼必顚躓、耶和華言之矣、○

瑣安之牧伯愚甚、法老有智之謀士、所謀愚蠢、何謂法老曰、我乃哲人之後、前王之胤耶、

爾之誡命、長久偕我、使我智於敵兮、我之明哲、越於諸師、以我思爾法度兮、我所通達、越於耆老、以我守爾訓詞兮、

敗狡者之計、俾其所謀不得成、

大地歟、其聽之、我必降災於斯民、為其圖謀之果報、蓋彼不從我言、而棄我律、

守之行之、是為爾之智慧通達、在列邦民前、彼聞此典章、必曰、此大國、乃智慧通達之民也、

災禍疊加、噩耗相繼、人求啟示於先知、然法律絕於祭司、智謀絕於長老、

論以東、萬軍之耶和華曰、今在提幔、不復有智乎、哲人絕其謀畧乎、其智銷亡乎、

夫十架之道、於淪亡者則為愚、於我儕得救者、則為上帝之能、記有之、我將敗智者之智、廢哲者之哲、智者安在、士子安在、斯世之辯者安在、豈非上帝使世之智為愚乎、蓋世既依上帝之智、而自恃己智不識上帝、故上帝喜以若愚之道救諸信者、猶太人索異蹟、希利尼人求智慧、但我儕宣釘十架之基督、於猶太人則為礙、於異邦人則為愚、惟於奉召者、無論猶太希利尼、則基督為上帝之能、上帝之智、蓋上帝之愚、智於人、上帝之弱、強於人、○兄弟乎、試觀爾曹奉召、依形軀為智為能為貴者無多也、乃上帝選世之愚者、以愧智者、選世之弱者、以愧強者、且選世之卑賤者、輕忽者、與夫無者以廢有者、使無人自誇於上帝前、

耶和華之律純全、蘇人魂兮、耶和華之法真實、化愚為智兮、

且自幼穉識聖書、能使爾智、以致拯救、由於信之在基督耶穌中者、

宜循法律與證詞、若不依此而言、則不見晨光、
