智慧人慚愧，驚惶，被擒拿；他們棄掉耶和華的話，心裏還有甚麼智慧呢？

智慧人必狼狽，必驚慌，必被捉住；看哪，永恆主的話他們竟棄絕了，他們心裏還有甚麼智慧呢？

智者愧恥、驚惶而被執、彼既棄耶和華之言、其智維何、

智者迷惑愧恥、不勝憂疑、棄耶和華之道、鳥得為智。

自稱為智者、必愧怍驚恐而見拘、彼棄主言、焉得為智乎、

The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and trapped. Since they have rejected the word of the Lord, what kind of wisdom do they have?

Those who think they are wise will be put to shame. They will become terrified. They will be trapped. They have not accepted my message. So what kind of wisdom do they have?

The wise men shall be put to shame; they shall be dismayed and taken; behold, they have rejected the word of the Lord, so what wisdom is in them?

These wise teachers will fall into the trap of their own foolishness, for they have rejected the word of the Lord. Are they so wise after all?

他们行可憎的事知道惭愧吗？不然，他们毫不惭愧，也不知羞耻。因此，他们必在仆倒的人中仆倒；我向他们讨罪的时候，他们必致跌倒。这是耶和华说的。”

琐安的首领极其愚昧；法老大有智慧的谋士，所筹划的成为愚谋。你们怎敢对法老说：“我是智慧人的子孙，我是古王的后裔？”

你的命令常存在我心里，使我比仇敌有智慧。我比我的师傅更通达，因我思想你的法度。我比年老的更明白，因我守了你的训词。

破坏狡猾人的计谋，使他们所谋的不得成就。

地啊，当听！我必使灾祸临到这百姓，就是他们意念所结的果子；因为他们不听从我的言语，至于我的训诲，他们也厌弃了。

所以你们要谨守遵行；这就是你们在万民眼前的智慧、聪明。他们听见这一切律例，必说：‘这大国的人真是有智慧，有聪明！’

灾害加上灾害，风声接连风声；他们必向先知求异象，但祭司讲的律法、长老设的谋略都必断绝。

论以东。万军之耶和华如此说：“提幔中再没有智慧吗？明哲人不再有谋略吗？他们的智慧尽归无有吗？

因为十字架的道理，在那灭亡的人为愚拙；在我们得救的人，却为神的大能。就如经上所记：“我要灭绝智慧人的智慧，废弃聪明人的聪明。”智慧人在哪里？文士在哪里？这世上的辩士在哪里？神岂不是叫这世上的智慧变成愚拙吗？世人凭自己的智慧，既不认识神，神就乐意用人所当作愚拙的道理拯救那些信的人；这就是神的智慧了。犹太人是要神迹，希腊人是求智慧，我们却是传钉十字架的基督，在犹太人为绊脚石，在外邦人为愚拙；但在那蒙召的，无论是犹太人、希腊人，基督总为神的能力，神的智慧。因神的愚拙总比人智慧，神的软弱总比人强壮。弟兄们哪，可见你们蒙召的，按着肉体有智慧的不多，有能力的不多，有尊贵的也不多。神却拣选了世上愚拙的，叫有智慧的羞愧；又拣选了世上软弱的，叫那强壮的羞愧。神也拣选了世上卑贱的，被人厌恶的，以及那无有的，为要废掉那有的，使一切有血气的，在神面前一个也不能自夸。

耶和华的律法全备，能苏醒人心；耶和华的法度确定，能使愚人有智慧。

并且知道你是从小明白圣经，这圣经能使你因信基督耶稣，有得救的智慧。

人当以训诲和法度为标准；他们所说的，若不与此相符，必不得见晨光。
