你們怎麼說：我們有智慧，耶和華的律法在我們這裏？看哪，文士的假筆舞弄虛假。

“你们怎能说，‘我们有智慧，因为我们有耶和华的律法’？事实上，律法教师撒谎的笔把律法篡改了。

你们怎可以说：“我们是智慧人，我们有耶和华的律法”呢？事实上，经学家虚假的笔已把律法变成谎言了。

「你們怎麼說：『我們有智慧，耶和華的律法在我們這裏』？看哪，其實文士的假筆舞弄虛假。

「你們怎能說，『我們有智慧，因為我們有耶和華的律法』？事實上，律法教師撒謊的筆把律法篡改了。

你們怎可以說：“我們是智慧人，我們有耶和華的律法”呢？事實上，經學家虛假的筆已把律法變成謊言了。

『你們怎能說：「我們有智慧，永恆主的指教在我們兜裏」呢？其實、你看，經學士虛假之筆舞弄着虛假呢！

爾曹奚曰、我乃智者、耶和華之法律在於我中、然文士虛偽之筆、使法律為虛偽、

奚必自誇為智、得耶和華之律例、繕寫舛謬、盡成偽例。

爾豈可自誇曰、我儕有智慧、主之律法為我所有、作律法徒然矣、繕寫律法徒然矣、

“‘ How can you say,“ We are wise, for we have the law of the Lord,” when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?

“‘ “How can you people say,‘ We are wise. We have the law of the Lord’? Actually, the teachers of the law have told lies about it. Their pens have not written what is true.

“ How can you say,‘ We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us’? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie.

“‘ How can you say,“ We are wise because we have the word of the Lord,” when your teachers have twisted it by writing lies?

“ How can you claim,‘ We are wise; the law of the LORD is with us’? In fact, the lying pen of scribes has produced falsehood.

“ How can you say,‘ We are wise, And the Law of the Lord is with us’? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes Has made it into a lie.

“ How can you say,‘ We are wise, And the law of the Lord is with us’? Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood.

How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of Jehovah is with us? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes hath wrought falsely.

“ How can you claim,‘ We are wise; the law of the Lord is with us’? In fact, the lying pen of scribes has produced falsehood.

How do ye say, We[ are] wise, and the law of the LORD[ is] with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he[ it]; the pen of the scribes[ is] in vain.

How can you say,“ We are wise! We have the law of the LORD”? The truth is, those who teach it have used their writings to make it say what it does not really mean.

“‘ How do you say,“ We are wise, and Yahweh’s law is with us?” But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has worked falsely.

禍哉！那些設立不義之律例的和記錄奸詐之判語的，為要屈枉窮乏人，奪去我民中困苦人的理，以寡婦當作擄物，以孤兒當作掠物。

耶穌對他們說：「你們若瞎了眼，就沒有罪了；但如今你們說『我們能看見』，所以你們的罪還在。」

破壞狡猾人的計謀，使他們所謀的不得成就。他叫有智慧的中了自己的詭計，使狡詐人的計謀速速滅亡。

他廢去忠信人的講論，又奪去老人的聰明。

自稱為聰明，反成了愚拙，

他就可以不孝敬父母。』這就是你們藉着遺傳，廢了神的誡命。

人不可自欺。你們中間若有人在這世界自以為有智慧，倒不如變作愚拙，好成為有智慧的。因這世界的智慧，在神看是愚拙。如經上記着說：「主叫有智慧的，中了自己的詭計」；又說：「主知道智慧人的意念是虛妄的。」

子孫為老人的冠冕；父親是兒女的榮耀。

他將他的道指示雅各，將他的律例典章指示以色列。

我為他寫了律法萬條，他卻以為與他毫無關涉。

你稱為猶太人，又倚靠律法，且指着神誇口；既從律法中受了教訓，就曉得神的旨意，也能分別是非；又深信自己是給瞎子領路的，是黑暗中人的光，是蠢笨人的師傅，是小孩子的先生，在律法上有知識和真理的模範。你既是教導別人，還不教導自己嗎？你講說人不可偷竊，自己還偷竊嗎？你說人不可姦淫，自己還姦淫嗎？你厭惡偶像，自己還偷竊廟中之物嗎？你指着律法誇口，自己倒犯律法、玷辱神嗎？神的名在外邦人中，因你們受了褻瀆，正如經上所記的。你若是行律法的，割禮固然於你有益；若是犯律法的，你的割禮就算不得割禮。所以那未受割禮的，若遵守律法的條例，他雖然未受割禮，豈不算是有割禮嗎？而且那本來未受割禮的，若能全守律法，豈不是要審判你這有儀文和割禮竟犯律法的人嗎？因為外面作猶太人的，不是真猶太人；外面肉身的割禮，也不是真割禮。惟有裏面作的，才是真猶太人；真割禮也是心裏的，在乎靈，不在乎儀文。這人的稱讚不是從人來的，乃是從神來的。

空虛的人卻毫無知識；人生在世好像野驢的駒子。
