此時、人將求死不得、蓋欲死而不能也、

乃言耶和華救以色列族出於北方、昔則逐於列邦、今則反之故土。○

願棄此微軀而就死地。已無樂生之心、不作永存之想、畢生遘難、毋寧舍子為幸。
