As they sat down to eat their meal, they looked up and saw a caravan of Ishmaelites coming from Gilead. Their camels were loaded with spices, balm and myrrh, and they were on their way to take them down to Egypt.

Those who plunder you will be plundered; all who make spoil of you I will despoil.But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord,‘ because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.’

Babylon will suddenly fall and be broken. Wail over her! Get balm for her pain; perhaps she can be healed.

And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her.

Then their father Israel said to them,“ If it must be, then do this: Put some of the best products of the land in your bags and take them down to the man as a gift— a little balm and a little honey, some spices and myrrh, some pistachio nuts and almonds.

Why should you be beaten anymore? Why do you persist in rebellion? Your whole head is injured, your whole heart afflicted.From the sole of your foot to the top of your head there is no soundness— only wounds and welts and open sores, not cleansed or bandaged or soothed with olive oil.
