他们坐下吃饭，举目观看，见有一伙米甸的以实玛利人从基列来，用骆驼驮着香料、乳香、没药，要带下埃及去。

埃及的民哪，可以上基列取乳香去；你虽多服良药，总是徒然，不得治好。

耶和华如此说：“你的损伤无法医治；你的伤痕极其重大。无人为你分诉，使你的伤痕得以缠裹；你没有医治的良药。你所亲爱的都忘记你，不来探问你。我因你的罪孽甚大，罪恶众多，曾用仇敌加的伤害伤害你，用残忍者的惩治惩治你。你为何因损伤哀号呢？你的痛苦无法医治。我因你的罪孽甚大，罪恶众多，曾将这些加在你身上。故此，凡吞吃你的必被吞吃；你的敌人个个都被掳去；掳掠你的必成为掳物；抢夺你的必成为掠物。耶和华说：我必使你痊愈，医好你的伤痕，都因人称你为被赶散的，说：‘这是锡安，无人来探问的！’”

巴比伦忽然倾覆毁坏；要为他哀号；为止他的疼痛，拿乳香或者可以治好。

有一个女人，患了十二年的血漏，在医生手里花尽了她一切养生的，并没有一人能医好她。

你们为什么屡次悖逆，还要受责打吗？你们已经满头疼痛，全心发昏。从脚掌到头顶，没有一处完全的，尽是伤口、青肿，与新打的伤痕，都没有收口，没有缠裹，也没有用膏滋润。
