听啊！远处传来我同胞的哀鸣：“难道耶和华不在锡安了吗？难道她的王不在她那里了吗？”耶和华说：“他们为什么供奉雕刻的神像和外族无用的偶像，惹我发怒？”

听啊！我同胞（“同胞”原文作“人民的女子”）的呼救声，从遥远之地传来：“耶和华不在锡安吗？锡安的王不在其中吗？”“他们为什么以自己雕刻的偶像，和列国虚无的偶像，来惹我发怒呢？”

聽啊，我子民的呼救聲，從遼闊之地而來，說：『永恆主不在錫安麼？錫安的王不在其中麼？』永恆主說：『他們為甚麼以他們的雕像、外人虛無的神、來惹我發怒呢？』

有我民女哀號之聲、來自遠方、曰、耶和華不在錫安乎、厥王不在其中乎、曰、彼胡為以雕像、及異邦之虛物、激我怒耶、

我民號呼於遠方曰、大君耶和華、豈非護衛郇邑者哉耶和華曰、彼崇事偶像及異邦人無靈之物、干我震怒。

我民哀號之聲、自遠方而來曰、主豈不在郇乎、郇豈無君乎、主曰、彼何崇拜偶像、及異邦虛無之神、干犯我怒哉、

Listen to the cry of my people from a land far away:“ Is the Lord not in Zion? Is her King no longer there?”“ Why have they aroused my anger with their images, with their worthless foreign idols?”

Listen to the cries of my people from a land far away. They cry out,“ Isn’t the Lord in Zion? Isn’t its King there anymore?” The Lord says,“ Why have they made me so angry by worshiping their wooden gods? Why have they made me angry with their worthless statues of gods from other lands?”

Behold, the cry of the daughter of my people from the length and breadth of the land:“ Is the Lord not in Zion? Is her King not in her?”“ Why have they provoked me to anger with their carved images and with their foreign idols?”

Listen to the weeping of my people; it can be heard all across the land.“ Has the Lord abandoned Jerusalem?” the people ask.“ Is her King no longer there?”“ Oh, why have they provoked my anger with their carved idols and their worthless foreign gods?” says the Lord.

Listen— the cry of my dear people from a faraway land,“ Is the LORD no longer in Zion, her King not within her?” Why have they angered me with their carved images, with their worthless foreign idols?

Behold, listen! The cry of the daughter of my people from a distant land:“ Is the Lord not in Zion? Is her King not within her?”“ Why have they provoked Me with their carved images, with foreign idols?”

Listen— the cry of my dear people from a far away land,“ Is the Lord no longer in Zion, her King not within her?” Why have they provoked me to anger with their carved images, with their worthless foreign idols?

Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country:[ Is] not the LORD in Zion?[ is] not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images,[ and] with strange vanities?

I hear my dear people crying out throughout the length and breadth of the land. They are crying,‘ Is the LORD no longer in Zion? Is her divine King no longer there?’” The LORD answers,“ Why then do they provoke me to anger with their images, with their worthless foreign idols?”

Then Isaiah the prophet came to king Hezekiah, and asked him,“ What did these men say? From where did they come to you?” Hezekiah said,“ They have come from a country far from me, even from Babylon.”

They come from a far country, from the uttermost part of heaven, even Yahweh, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

“ Tell the nations; behold, publish against Jerusalem,‘ Watchers come from a far country, and raise their voice against the cities of Judah.As keepers of a field, they are against her all around, because she has been rebellious against me,’” says Yahweh.

You, when you are made desolate, what will you do? Though you clothe yourself with scarlet, though you deck yourself with ornaments of gold, though you enlarge your eyes with makeup, you make yourself beautiful in vain. Your lovers despise you. They seek your life.For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, the anguish as of her who gives birth to her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, who gasps for breath, who spreads her hands, saying,“ Woe is me now! For my soul faints before the murderers.”

I will scatter them also among the nations, whom neither they nor their fathers have known; and I will send the sword after them, until I have consumed them.”

Let Israel rejoice in him who made them. Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

I will cleanse their blood, that I have not cleansed: for Yahweh dwells in Zion.”

For Yahweh is our judge. Yahweh is our lawgiver. Yahweh is our king. He will save us.

Have you utterly rejected Judah? Has your soul loathed Zion? Why have you struck us, and there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of healing, and behold, dismay!

Cry aloud and shout, you inhabitant of Zion; for the Holy One of Israel is great among you!”

Yahweh will reign forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise Yah!

For there will be a day that the watchmen on the hills of Ephraim cry,‘ Arise! Let’s go up to Zion to Yahweh our God.’”

Why then have the people of Jerusalem fallen back by a perpetual backsliding? They cling to deceit. They refuse to return.I listened and heard, but they didn’t say what is right. No one repents of his wickedness, saying,“ What have I done?” Everyone turns to his course, as a horse that rushes headlong in the battle.

“ To the angel of the assembly in Ephesus write:“ He who holds the seven stars in his right hand, he who walks among the seven golden lamp stands says these things:

It will happen that whoever will call on Yahweh’s name shall be saved; for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, as Yahweh has said, and among the remnant, those whom Yahweh calls.

Blessed be Yahweh from Zion, who dwells at Jerusalem. Praise Yah!

Ah sinful nation, a people loaded with iniquity, offspring of evildoers, children who deal corruptly! They have forsaken Yahweh. They have despised the Holy One of Israel. They are estranged and backward.

But in Mount Zion, there will be those who escape, and it will be holy. The house of Jacob will possess their possessions.

Awake, awake! Put on your strength, Zion. Put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city: for from now on the uncircumcised and the unclean will no more come into you.

They moved him to jealousy with strange gods. They provoked him to anger with abominations.They sacrificed to demons, not God, to gods that they didn’t know, to new gods that came up recently, which your fathers didn’t dread.Of the Rock who became your father, you are unmindful, and have forgotten God who gave you birth.Yahweh saw and abhorred, because of the provocation of his sons and his daughters.He said,“ I will hide my face from them. I will see what their end will be; for they are a very perverse generation, children in whom is no faithfulness.They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God. They have provoked me to anger with their vanities. I will move them to jealousy with those who are not a people. I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
