我們為甚麼靜坐不動呢？聚集攏來哦，我們好進入有堡壘的城，在那裏寂滅掉；因為永恆主我們的上帝命定我們寂滅，將毒苦水給我們喝，因為我們犯罪得罪了永恆主。

我儕靜坐何為乎、其會集而入鞏固之邑、隕亡於彼、我上帝耶和華飲我以毒水、使我隕亡、緣我干犯耶和華也、

先知告民曰、我儕坐此曷故、必會眾入城、在彼默默無語、我獲罪於我之上帝耶和華、使我嘗膽、無詞可述。

Why are we sitting here? Gather together! Let us flee to the fortified cities and perish there! For the Lord our God has doomed us to perish and given us poisoned water to drink, because we have sinned against him.

Why are we sitting here? Let’s gather together! Let’s run to the cities that have high walls around them! Let’s die there! The Lord our God has sentenced us to death. He has given us poisoned water to drink. That’s because we’ve sinned against him.

Why do we sit still? Gather together; let us go into the fortified cities and perish there, for the Lord our God has doomed us to perish and has given us poisoned water to drink, because we have sinned against the Lord.

“ Then the people will say,‘ Why should we wait here to die? Come, let’s go to the fortified towns and die there. For the Lord our God has decreed our destruction and has given us a cup of poison to drink because we sinned against the Lord.

Why are we just sitting here? Gather together; let’s enter the fortified cities and perish there, for the LORD our God has destroyed us. He has given us poisoned water to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.

The people say,“ Why are we just sitting here? Let us gather together inside the fortified cities. Let us at least die there fighting, since the LORD our God has condemned us to die. He has condemned us to drink the poison waters of judgment because we have sinned against him.

“ Why do we sit still? Assemble yourselves! Let’s enter into the fortified cities, and let’s be silent there; for Yahweh our God has put us to silence, and given us poisoned water to drink, because we have sinned against Yahweh.

所以万军之耶和华论到先知如此说：我必将茵陈给他们吃，又将苦胆水给他们喝；因为亵渎的事出于耶路撒冷的先知，流行遍地。

巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒上此地来，我们因怕迦勒底的军队和亚兰的军队，就说：‘来吧，我们到耶路撒冷去。’这样，我们才住在耶路撒冷。”

大卫对亚比筛说：“现在恐怕比基利的儿子示巴加害于我们比押沙龙更甚。你要带领你主的仆人追赶他，免得他得了坚固城，躲避我们。”

他们拿苦胆给我当食物；我渴了，他们拿醋给我喝。

兵丁拿苦胆调和的酒给耶稣喝；他尝了，就不肯喝。

惟恐你们中间，或男或女，或族长或支派长，今日心里偏离耶和华我们的神，去侍奉那些国的神；又怕你们中间有恶根生出苦菜和茵陈来，

“你们当传扬在犹大，宣告在耶路撒冷说：‘你们当在国中吹角，高声呼叫说：你们当聚集！我们好进入坚固城！’应当向锡安竖立大旗。要逃避，不要迟延，因我必使灾祸与大毁灭从北方来到。”

死人的伯叔，就是烧他尸首的，要将这尸首搬到房外，问房屋内间的人说：“你那里还有人没有？”他必说：“没有”；又说：“不要作声，因为我们不可提耶和华的名。”

于是摩西对亚伦说：“这就是耶和华所说：‘我在亲近我的人中要显为圣；在众民面前，我要得荣耀。’”亚伦就默默不言。

凡有血气的都当在耶和华面前静默无声；因为他兴起，从圣所出来了。

人在幼年负轭，这原是好的。他当独坐无言，因为这是耶和华加在他身上的。

我默然无声，连好话也不出口；我的愁苦就发动了，

惟耶和华在他的圣殿中；全地的人都当在他面前肃敬静默。

耶和华啊，我们承认自己的罪恶，和我们列祖的罪孽，因我们得罪了你。

祭司要叫那妇人蓬头散发，站在耶和华面前，把思念的素祭，就是疑恨的素祭，放在她手中。祭司手里拿着致咒诅的苦水，要叫妇人起誓，对她说：‘若没有人与你行淫，也未曾背着丈夫做污秽的事，你就免受这致咒诅苦水的灾。你若背着丈夫行了污秽的事，在你丈夫以外有人与你行淫，（祭司叫妇人发咒起誓，）愿耶和华叫你大腿消瘦，肚腹发胀，使你在你民中被人咒诅，成了誓语；并且这致咒诅的水入你的肠中，要叫你的肚腹发胀，大腿消瘦。’妇人要回答说：‘阿们，阿们。’“祭司要写这咒诅的话，将所写的字抹在苦水里，又叫妇人喝这致咒诅的苦水；这水要进入她里面变苦了。

他们的葡萄树是所多玛的葡萄树，蛾摩拉田园所生的；他们的葡萄是毒葡萄，全挂都是苦的。

在城门那里有四个长大麻风的人，他们彼此说：“我们为何坐在这里等死呢？我们若说，进城去吧！城里有饥荒，必死在那里；若在这里坐着不动，也必是死。来吧，我们去投降亚兰人的军队，他们若留我们的活命，就活着；若杀我们，就死了吧！”
