“‘ I will utterly consume them, says Yahweh. No grapes will be on the vine, no figs on the fig tree, and the leaf will fade. The things that I have given them will pass away from them.’”

永恆主發神諭說：我必徹底收拾他們；葡萄樹上都沒有葡萄；無花果樹上都沒有無花果；葉子全都凋殘；我賜給他們的都離開他們而過去了。』

耶和華曰、我必殲滅之、其葡萄樹無葡萄、無花果樹無無花果、厥葉變色、蹂躪之者、我已命之、

耶和華又曰、我必糜爛斯民、葡萄樹無花果、必至凋零、枝葉必枯、我所賜之物、泯焉無存。

主曰、我必盡滅斯民、葡萄樹必無葡萄、無花果樹必無無花果、枝葉盡枯、我所賜之物、悉使無有、

“‘ I will take away their harvest, declares the Lord. There will be no grapes on the vine. There will be no figs on the tree, and their leaves will wither. What I have given them will be taken from them.’”

“‘ “I will take away their harvest,” announces the Lord.“ There will not be any grapes on the vines. The trees will not bear any figs. The leaves on the trees will dry up. What I have given my people will be taken away from them.” ’ ”

When I would gather them, declares the Lord, there are no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree; even the leaves are withered, and what I gave them has passed away from them.”

I will surely consume them. There will be no more harvests of figs and grapes. Their fruit trees will all die. Whatever I gave them will soon be gone. I, the Lord, have spoken!’

“ I will gather them and bring them to an end.” This is the LORD’s declaration.“ There will be no grapes on the vine, no figs on the fig tree, and even the leaf will wither. Whatever I have given them will be lost to them.”

“ I will certainly snatch them away,” declares the Lord.“ There will be no grapes on the vine And no figs on the fig tree, And the leaf will wither; And what I have given them will pass away.” ’ ”

“ I will surely consume them,” says the Lord.“ No grapes shall be on the vine, Nor figs on the fig tree, And the leaf shall fade; And the things I have given them shall pass away from them.”’”

I will utterly consume them, saith Jehovah: there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig- tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them.

I will gather them and bring them to an end. This is the Lord’s declaration. There will be no grapes on the vine, no figs on the fig tree, and even the leaf will wither. Whatever I have given them will be lost to them.

I will take away their harvests, says the LORD. There will be no grapes on their vines. There will be no figs on their fig trees. Even the leaves on their trees will wither. The crops that I gave them will be taken away.’”

Seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to it,“ Let there be no fruit from you forever!” Immediately the fig tree withered away.

He has laid my vine waste, and stripped my fig tree. He has stripped its bark, and thrown it away. Its branches are made white.

For he will be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes, but its leaf will be green, and will not be concerned in the year of drought. It won’t cease from yielding fruit.

He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.The wicked are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.

For though the fig tree doesn’t flourish, nor fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive fails, the fields yield no food; the flocks are cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls:

For she didn’t know that I gave her the grain, the new wine, and the oil, and multiplied to her silver and gold, which they used for Baal.Therefore I will take back my grain in its time, and my new wine in its season, and will pluck away my wool and my flax which should have covered her nakedness.

I called for a drought on the land, on the mountains, on the grain, on the new wine, on the oil, on that which the ground produces, on men, on livestock, and on all the labor of the hands.”

You will plant vineyards and dress them, but you will neither drink of the wine, nor harvest, because worms will eat them.You will have olive trees throughout all your borders, but you won’t anoint yourself with the oil, for your olives will drop off.You will father sons and daughters, but they will not be yours, for they will go into captivity.Locusts will consume all of your trees and the fruit of your ground.

What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? Why, when I looked for it to yield grapes, did it yield wild grapes?Now I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard. I will take away its hedge, and it will be eaten up. I will break down its wall, and it will be trampled down.I will lay it a wasteland. It won’t be pruned or hoed, but it will grow briers and thorns. I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain on it.”

I struck you with blight, mildew, and hail in all the work of your hands; yet you didn’t turn to me,’ says Yahweh.

They will eat up your harvest and your bread, which your sons and your daughters should eat. They will eat up your flocks and your herds. They will eat up your vines and your fig trees. They will beat down your fortified cities in which you trust with the sword.

He spoke this parable.“ A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it, and found none.He said to the vine dresser,‘ Behold, these three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and found none. Cut it down. Why does it waste the soil?’He answered,‘ Lord, leave it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it.If it bears fruit, fine; but if not, after that, you can cut it down.’”

The field is laid waste. The land mourns, for the grain is destroyed, The new wine has dried up, and the oil languishes.Be confounded, you farmers! Wail, you vineyard keepers; for the wheat and for the barley; for the harvest of the field has perished.The vine has dried up, and the fig tree withered; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all of the trees of the field are withered; for joy has withered away from the sons of men.

It will happen in that day that Yahweh will punish the army of the high ones on high, and the kings of the earth on the earth.They will be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and will be shut up in the prison; and after many days they will be visited.

For the sun arises with the scorching wind and withers the grass, and the flower in it falls, and the beauty of its appearance perishes. So the rich man will also fade away in his pursuits.

Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:‘ Because you have all become dross, therefore, behold, I will gather you into the middle of Jerusalem.As they gather silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin into the middle of the furnace, to blow the fire on it, to melt it; so I will gather you in my anger and in my wrath, and I will lay you there, and melt you.Yes, I will gather you, and blow on you with the fire of my wrath, and you will be melted in the middle of it.

For ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and a homer of seed shall yield an ephah.”

Utter a parable to the rebellious house, and tell them,‘ The Lord Yahweh says,“ Put the cauldron on the fire. Put it on, and also pour water into it.Gather its pieces into it, even every good piece: the thigh and the shoulder. Fill it with the choice bones.Take the choice of the flock, and also a pile of wood for the bones under the cauldron. Make it boil well. Yes, let its bones be boiled within it.”“‘ Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:“ Woe to the bloody city, to the cauldron whose rust is in it, and whose rust hasn’t gone out of it! Take out of it piece after piece. No lot is fallen on it.“‘“ For her blood is in the middle of her. She set it on the bare rock. She didn’t pour it on the ground, to cover it with dust.That it may cause wrath to come up to take vengeance, I have set her blood on the bare rock, that it should not be covered.”“‘ Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:“ Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.Heap on the wood. Make the fire hot. Boil the meat well. Make the broth thick, and let the bones be burned.Then set it empty on its coals, that it may be hot, and its bronze may burn, and that its filthiness may be molten in it, that its rust may be consumed.

Your strength will be spent in vain; for your land won’t yield its increase, neither will the trees of the land yield their fruit.
