『你要將這一切話告訴他們，雖則他們不聽從；你要呼喚他們，儘管他們不應；

爾將告以斯言、惟彼不聽、爾將呼之、惟彼不應、

上帝告先知曰、爾雖有命、民不聽從、爾雖招徠、民不應命。

爾耶利米以此言告之、彼仍不聽爾、爾招之來、彼仍不應爾、

“ When you tell them all this, they will not listen to you; when you call to them, they will not answer.

“ Jeremiah, when you tell them all this, they will not listen to you. When you call out to them, they will not answer.

“ So you shall speak all these words to them, but they will not listen to you. You shall call to them, but they will not answer you.

“ Tell them all this, but do not expect them to listen. Shout out your warnings, but do not expect them to respond.

“ When you speak all these things to them, they will not listen to you. When you call to them, they will not answer you.

“ So you shall speak all these words to them, but they will not listen to you; and you shall call to them, but they will not answer you.

“ Therefore you shall speak all these words to them, but they will not obey you. You shall also call to them, but they will not answer you.

And thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.

“ When you speak all these things to them, they will not listen to you. When you call to them, they will not answer you.

Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.

Then the LORD said to me,“ When you tell them all this, they will not listen to you. When you call out to them, they will not respond to you.

“ You shall speak all these words to them, but they will not listen to you. You shall also call to them, but they will not answer you.

“耶和华如此说：你站在耶和华殿的院内，对犹大众城邑的人，就是到耶和华殿来礼拜的，说我所吩咐你的一切话，一字不可删减。

耶和华对我说：“你不要说‘我是年幼的’，因为我差遣你到谁那里去，你都要去；我吩咐你说什么话，你都要说。

万军之耶和华说：“我曾呼唤他们，他们不听；将来他们呼求我，我也不听！

我要命定你们归在刀下，都必屈身被杀；因为我呼唤，你们没有答应；我说话，你们没有听从；反倒行我眼中看为恶的，拣选我所不喜悦的。”

我来的时候，为何无人等候呢？我呼唤的时候，为何无人答应呢？我的膀臂岂是缩短、不能救赎吗？我岂无拯救之力吗？看哪，我一斥责，海就干了；我使江河变为旷野；其中的鱼因无水腥臭，干渴而死。

他说：“你去告诉这百姓说：你们听是要听见，却不明白；看是要看见，却不晓得。要使这百姓心蒙脂油，耳朵发沉，眼睛昏迷；恐怕眼睛看见，耳朵听见，心里明白，回转过来，便得医治。”

这众子面无羞耻，心里刚硬。我差你往他们那里去，你要对他们说：主耶和华如此说。他们或听，或不听（他们是悖逆之家），必知道在他们中间有了先知。人子啊，虽有荆棘和蒺藜在你那里，你又住在蝎子中间，总不要怕他们，也不要怕他们的话；他们虽是悖逆之家，还不要怕他们的话，也不要因他们的脸色惊惶。他们或听，或不听，你只管将我的话告诉他们；他们是极其悖逆的。

“人子啊，我立你作以色列家守望的人，所以你要听我口中的话，替我警戒他们。我何时指着恶人说：他必要死；你若不警戒他，也不劝戒他，使他离开恶行，拯救他的性命，这恶人必死在罪孽之中；我却要向你讨他丧命的罪。

因为神的旨意，我并没有一样避讳不传给你们的。

他对我说：“人子啊，你往以色列家那里去，将我的话对他们讲说。你奉差遣不是往那说话深奥、言语难懂的民那里去，乃是往以色列家去；不是往那说话深奥、言语难懂的多国去，他们的话语是你不懂得的。我若差你往他们那里去，他们必听从你。以色列家却不肯听从你，因为他们不肯听从我；原来以色列全家是额坚心硬的人。看哪，我使你的脸硬过他们的脸，使你的额硬过他们的额。我使你的额像金钢钻，比火石更硬。他们虽是悖逆之家，你不要怕他们，也不要因他们的脸色惊惶。”他又对我说：“人子啊，我对你所说的一切话，要心里领会，耳中听闻。你往你本国被掳的子民那里去，他们或听，或不听，你要对他们讲说，告诉他们这是主耶和华说的。”

他们要攻击你，却不能胜你；因为我与你同在，要拯救你。这是耶和华说的。”
