然以色列族在曠野、違逆乎我、不遵我禮儀、犯我安息日、浸假有人守我法度、則可保生、惟彼藐視之、故我自謂、必在曠野、震怒斯眾、滅之務盡。

以色列族我民兮、弗聽從弗柔順兮、余任其桀驁、聽其縱欲兮。

然則耶路撒冷人恆背逆予、固執詭詐、不知悛改、曷故。

爾不傾耳以聽、仍強厥項、較祖尤甚。

耶和華諭摩西曰、爾必下、爾所導出埃及之民、已喪厥心、我所諭之道、彼違甚速、鑄犢崇拜祭祀、稱之曰以色列族乎、導爾出埃及之上帝、即此。

耶和華又曰、爾違逆予、卻而不前、故我必舉手擊爾、滅爾殆盡、不可復忍、

彼稱木為父、稱石為母、居恆之際、則背逆乎我、患難之時、則求予援手。

惟彼違逆、不從我命、不棄可惡之物、不毀埃及之偶像、故爾祖尚在埃及時、我已憤怒甚烈、欲降災其躬、

自我導爾祖出埃及、以迄今日、我屢訓迪、曰、宜聽我命、彼不肯從、不傾耳以聽、乃縱欲行惡、我所命之約、彼不恪守、我已降罰、循約所言。

以色列族若崛強之牛、退縮不前、我耶和華必放之曠野、若無牧之羔、

子孫背我、不遵我禮儀、犯我安息日、如有人守我法度、則可保生、惟彼不守、故我自謂、必在曠野、震怒斯眾、滅之務盡。

以耶路撒冷、為我駐蹕之所、列邦之民必詣斯邑、尊崇我名、惡念不生、惡事弗作。

彼退縮不前、我則誨之諄諄、彼則聽我藐藐。

有人藐視予、彼託我命、言必獲平康、有人縱私欲、彼言必不遇害。

加以訓誨、使服爾律例、彼妄自誇大、不從爾命、爾之法度、遵之者則得生、彼故犯之、強項難馴、背命不聽。

爾在埃及、丕著異跡、乃余列祖、懵然弗識、罔念爾鴻恩兮、在彼紅海、干爾震怒兮、上帝卒拯救之、彰厥大能、著其仁慈兮、爰叱紅海、海水中判、俾民得濟、如履陸地兮、敵憾選民、欲加殘害、上帝援手兮、俾水淹敵、靡有孑遺兮、民信主言、謳歌其名兮、厥後斯民、忘其經綸、不俟其命兮、爰至曠野、縱欲妄行、以試上帝兮、主雖聽其祈、仍降以災兮。斯民在營、娼嫉摩西、維彼亞倫、上帝俾之作聖、民亦深忌之兮、地口孔張、吞噬大單、淹覆亞庇蘭之黨兮、火燃厥黨、焰焚惡眾兮。民在何烈、鑄犢成形、而崇拜之兮、昔歸榮上帝、今則不然、拜跪犢像、犢惟嚙蒭兮、上帝在埃及行異跡、在含作奇事、在紅海彰厥威、欲手援斯民、民忘之兮、

當時之民、即我列祖、妄自矜詡、強項不馴、不聽從爾命、不追念爾所行之異跡、倔強猶昔、背爾立牧、歸於服役之地、乃爾特加赦宥、仁慈矜憫、恆忍施恩、不棄斯民。民鑄金為犢、自謂導民出埃及之上帝即此、於是干爾震怒、然爾矜憫靡涯、不棄斯民於野、晝仍導以雲、夜仍燭以火、其狀如柱、不論何往、時無間絕。以爾聖神訓迪、錫嗎嗱以充其飢、出清泉以止其渴。

彼藐視我法度、不遵我禮儀、犯我安息日、心崇偶像。
