therefore I will do to the house which is called by My name, in which you trust, and to the place which I gave you and your fathers, just as I did to Shiloh.

故我必廢棄斯殿、為我名而建者、即爾所恃者、亦必廢棄我所賜爾與爾列祖之處、如昔我在示羅所行者然、

Therefore, what I did to Shiloh I will now do to the house that bears my Name, the temple you trust in, the place I gave to you and your ancestors.

So what I did to Shiloh I will now do to the house where my Name is. It is the temple you trust in. It is the place I gave to you and your people of long ago.

therefore I will do to the house that is called by my name, and in which you trust, and to the place that I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.

So just as I destroyed Shiloh, I will now destroy this Temple that bears my name, this Temple that you trust in for help, this place that I gave to you and your ancestors.

what I did to Shiloh I will do to the house that bears my name, the house in which you trust, the place that I gave you and your ancestors.

therefore I will do to the house which is called by My name, in which you trust, and to this place which I gave to you and your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

therefore will I do unto the house which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.

what I did to Shiloh I will do to the house that is called by My name— the house in which you trust— the place that I gave you and your ancestors.

Therefore will I do unto[ this] house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

So I will destroy this temple which I have claimed as my own, this temple that you are trusting to protect you. I will destroy this place that I gave to you and your ancestors, just like I destroyed Shiloh.

therefore I will do to the house which is called by my name, in which you trust, and to the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.

Do not trust in deceptive words, saying,‘ This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord.’

And he burned the house of the Lord, the king’s house, and all the houses of Jerusalem; even every great house he burned with fire.

And it will besiege you in all your towns until your high and fortified walls in which you trusted come down throughout your land, and it will besiege you in all your towns throughout your land which the Lord your God has given you.

then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by My name, and say,‘ We are saved!’— so that you may do all these abominations?

Jesus left the temple area and was going on His way when His disciples came up to point out the temple buildings to Him.But He responded and said to them,“ Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down.”

But to the others He said in my presence,“ Go through the city after him and strike; do not let your eye have pity and do not spare.Utterly kill old men, young men, female virgins, little children, and women, but do not touch any person on whom is the mark; and you shall start from My sanctuary.” So they started with the elders who were before the temple.He also said to them,“ Defile the temple and fill the courtyards with the dead. Go out!” So they went out and struck and killed the people in the city.

So that He abandoned the dwelling place at Shiloh, The tent which He had pitched among people,

And he burned the house of the Lord, the king’s house, and all the houses of Jerusalem; even every large house he burned with fire.So the entire army of the Chaldeans who were with the captain of the guard tore down all the walls around Jerusalem.Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took into exile some of the poorest of the people, the rest of the people who were left in the city, the deserters who had deserted to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the craftsmen.But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left some of the poorest of the land to be vinedressers and farmers.Now the bronze pillars which belonged to the house of the Lord and the stands and the bronze sea, which were in the house of the Lord, the Chaldeans smashed to pieces and carried all their bronze to Babylon.They also took the pots, the shovels, the snuffers, the basins, the pans, and all the bronze vessels which were used in temple service.The captain of the guard also took the bowls, the firepans, the basins, the pots, the lampstands, the pans, and the drink offering bowls, whatever was fine gold, and whatever was fine silver.The two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve bronze bulls that were under the sea, and the stands, which King Solomon had made for the house of the Lord— the bronze of all these vessels was beyond weight.As for the pillars, the height of each pillar was eighteen cubits, and it was twelve cubits in circumference and four fingers in thickness, and hollow.Also, a capital of bronze was on top of it; and the height of each capital was five cubits, with latticework and pomegranates on the capital all around, all of bronze. And the second pillar was like these, including pomegranates.There were ninety six exposed pomegranates; all the pomegranates numbered a hundred on the latticework all around.

But you shall seek the Lord at the place which the Lord your God will choose from all your tribes, to establish His name there for His dwelling, and you shall come there.

“ Micah of Moresheth used to prophesy in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah; and he spoke to all the people of Judah, saying,‘ This is what the Lord of armies has said:“ Zion will be plowed like a field, And Jerusalem will become heaps of ruins, And the mountain of the house like the high places of a forest.” ’

Moreover, they transformed the splendor of His jewels into pride, and they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things with it; therefore I will make it an abhorrent thing to them.And I will hand it over to the foreigners as plunder, and to the wicked of the earth as spoils; and they will profane it.I will also turn My face away from them, and they will profane My treasure; then robbers will enter and profane it.

Our holy and beautiful house, Where our fathers praised You, Has been burned by fire; And all our precious things have become a ruin.

How dark the gold has become, How the pure gold has changed! The sacred stones are spilled out At the corner of every street.

He brought all the articles of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king and his officers, to Babylon.Then they burned the house of God and broke down the wall of Jerusalem, and burned all its fortified buildings with fire and destroyed all its valuable articles.

Her leaders pronounce judgment for a bribe, Her priests teach for pay, And her prophets divine for money. Yet they lean on the Lord, saying,“ Is the Lord not in our midst? Catastrophe will not come upon us.”Therefore on account of you, Zion will be plowed like a field, Jerusalem will become a heap of ruins, And the mountain of the temple will become high places of a forest.

And now they break down all its carved work With axe and hammers.They have burned Your sanctuary to the ground; They have defiled the dwelling place of Your name.They said in their heart,“ Let’s completely subdue them.” They have burned all the meeting places of God in the land.

So the Philistines fought and Israel was defeated, and every man fled to his tent; and the defeat was very great, for thirty thousand foot soldiers of Israel fell.Moreover, the ark of God was taken; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, died.

then I will cut Israel off from the land which I have given them, and the house which I have consecrated for My name, I will expel from My sight. So Israel will become a saying and an object of derision among all peoples.And this house will become a heap of ruins; everyone who passes by it will be appalled and hiss and say,‘ Why has the Lord done such a thing to this land and this house?’

They put forward false witnesses who said,“ This man does not stop speaking against this holy place and the Law;for we have heard him say that this Nazarene, Jesus, will destroy this place and change the customs which Moses handed down to us.”

‘ Speak to the house of Israel,“ This is what the Lord God says:‘ Behold, I am about to profane My sanctuary, the pride of your power, that which is precious in your eyes and the longing of your soul; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind will fall by the sword.

then I will make this house like Shiloh, and I will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.” ’ ”The priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the Lord.Yet when Jeremiah finished speaking everything that the Lord had commanded him to speak to all the people, then the priests and the prophets and all the people seized him, saying,“ You must die!Why have you prophesied in the name of the Lord, saying,‘ This house will be like Shiloh and this city will be in ruins, without inhabitant’?” And all the people gathered to Jeremiah at the house of the Lord.

As for this house, which was exalted, everyone who passes by it will be astonished and say,‘ Why has the Lord done these things to this land and to this house?’

“ But go now to My place which was in Shiloh, where I made My name dwell at the beginning, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of My people Israel.

The Lord has rejected His altar, He has repudiated His sanctuary; He has handed over The walls of her palaces to the enemy. They have made a noise in the house of the Lord As on the day of an appointed feast.
