Therefore will I do unto[ this] house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

故我於我寄名之室、爾所恃者、及我錫爾列祖與爾之地、必有所為、如昔在示羅然、

故我所錫爾祖、及爾之地、與斯殿為籲我名之所、爾所恃者、我必敗之、如昔敗示羅然。

故我必廢棄斯殿、為我名而建者、即爾所恃者、亦必廢棄我所賜爾與爾列祖之處、如昔我在示羅所行者然、

Therefore, what I did to Shiloh I will now do to the house that bears my Name, the temple you trust in, the place I gave to you and your ancestors.

So what I did to Shiloh I will now do to the house where my Name is. It is the temple you trust in. It is the place I gave to you and your people of long ago.

therefore I will do to the house that is called by my name, and in which you trust, and to the place that I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.

So just as I destroyed Shiloh, I will now destroy this Temple that bears my name, this Temple that you trust in for help, this place that I gave to you and your ancestors.

what I did to Shiloh I will do to the house that bears my name, the house in which you trust, the place that I gave you and your ancestors.

therefore I will do to the house which is called by My name, in which you trust, and to the place which I gave you and your fathers, just as I did to Shiloh.

therefore will I do unto the house which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.

what I did to Shiloh I will do to the house that is called by My name— the house in which you trust— the place that I gave you and your ancestors.

So I will destroy this temple which I have claimed as my own, this temple that you are trusting to protect you. I will destroy this place that I gave to you and your ancestors, just like I destroyed Shiloh.

therefore I will do to the house which is called by my name, in which you trust, and to the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.

Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD,[ are] these.

And he burnt the house of the LORD, and the king’s house, and all the houses of Jerusalem, and every great[ man’s] house burnt he with fire.

And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.

And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?

And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to[ him] for to shew him the buildings of the temple.And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:Slay utterly old[ and] young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom[ is] the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which[ were] before the house.And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.

So that he forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent[ which] he placed among men;

And burned the house of the LORD, and the king’s house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, and all the houses of the great[ men], burned he with fire:And all the army of the Chaldeans, that[ were] with the captain of the guard, brake down all the walls of Jerusalem round about.Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive[ certain] of the poor of the people, and the residue of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left[ certain] of the poor of the land for vinedressers and for husbandmen.Also the pillars of brass that[ were] in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brasen sea that[ was] in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans brake, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon.The caldrons also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.And the basons, and the firepans, and the bowls, and the caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups;[ that] which[ was] of gold[ in] gold, and[ that] which[ was] of silver[ in] silver, took the captain of the guard away.The two pillars, one sea, and twelve brasen bulls that[ were] under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of the LORD: the brass of all these vessels was without weight.And[ concerning] the pillars, the height of one pillar[ was] eighteen cubits; and a fillet of twelve cubits did compass it; and the thickness thereof[ was] four fingers:[ it was] hollow.And a chapiter of brass[ was] upon it; and the height of one chapiter[ was] five cubits, with network and pomegranates upon the chapiters round about, all[ of] brass. The second pillar also and the pomegranates[ were] like unto these.And there were ninety and six pomegranates on a side;[ and] all the pomegranates upon the network[ were] an hundred round about.

But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there,[ even] unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:

Micah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and spake to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Zion shall be plowed[ like] a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.

As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations[ and] of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret[ place]: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.

Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.

How is the gold become dim![ how] is the most fine gold changed! the stones of the sanctuary are poured out in the top of every street.

And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all[ these] he brought to Babylon.And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.

The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say,[ Is] not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed[ as] a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.

But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled[ by casting down] the dwelling place of thy name to the ground.They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.

And the Philistines fought, and Israel was smitten, and they fled every man into his tent: and there was a very great slaughter; for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen.And the ark of God was taken; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were slain.

Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:And at this house,[ which] is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and to this house?

And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law:For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.

Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword.

Then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.So the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD.Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded[ him] to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.Why hast thou prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.

And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house?

But go ye now unto my place which[ was] in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

The Lord hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the LORD, as in the day of a solemn feast.
