可往示羅、昔我寄名之所、視我為我民以色列邪惡、所行之事、

昔以示羅為籲我名之所、以色列族作惡、我既有以處之矣。爾可往觀。

“‘ Go now to the place in Shiloh where I first made a dwelling for my Name, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of my people Israel.

“‘ “Go now to the town of Shiloh. Go to the place where I first made a home for my Name. See what I did to it because of the evil things my people Israel were doing.

非利士人和以色列人打仗，以色列人败了，各向各家奔逃，被杀的人甚多，以色列的步兵仆倒了三万。神的约柜被掳去，以利的两个儿子何弗尼、非尼哈也都被杀了。

神的殿在示罗多少日子，但人为自己设立米迦所雕刻的像也在但多少日子。

我就必使这殿如示罗，使这城为地上万国所咒诅的。’”

她又说：“荣耀离开以色列，因为神的约柜被掳去了。”

以色列的全会众都聚集在示罗，把会幕设立在那里，那地已经被他们制伏了。

甚至他离弃示罗的帐幕，就是他在人间所搭的帐棚；又将他的约柜交与人掳去，将他的荣耀交在敌人手中；并将他的百姓交与刀剑，向他的产业发怒。少年人被火烧灭；处女也无喜歌。祭司倒在刀下，寡妇却不哀哭。

百姓回到营里，以色列的长老说：“耶和华今日为何使我们败在非利士人面前呢？我们不如将耶和华的约柜从示罗抬到我们这里来，好在我们中间救我们脱离敌人的手。”于是百姓打发人到示罗，从那里将坐在二基路伯上万军之耶和华的约柜抬来。以利的两个儿子何弗尼、非尼哈与神的约柜同来。

那时要将我所吩咐你们的燔祭、平安祭、十分取一之物，和手中的举祭，并向耶和华许愿献的一切美祭，都奉到耶和华你们神所选择要立为他名的居所。

这人每年从本城上到示罗，敬拜祭祀万军之耶和华；在那里有以利的两个儿子何弗尼、非尼哈当耶和华的祭司。

但耶和华你们的神从你们各支派中选择何处为立他名的居所，你们就当往那里去求问，
