可往示羅、昔我寄名之所、視我為我民以色列邪惡、所行之事、

昔以示羅為籲我名之所、以色列族作惡、我既有以處之矣。爾可往觀。

昔示羅有我殿、我使我名在彼、因我民以色列作惡、我廢棄矣、爾可往觀、

“‘ Go now to the place in Shiloh where I first made a dwelling for my Name, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of my people Israel.

“‘ “Go now to the town of Shiloh. Go to the place where I first made a home for my Name. See what I did to it because of the evil things my people Israel were doing.

Go now to my place that was in Shiloh, where I made my name dwell at first, and see what I did to it because of the evil of my people Israel.

“‘ Go now to the place at Shiloh where I once put the Tabernacle that bore my name. See what I did there because of all the wickedness of my people, the Israelites.

于是非利士人起来作战，以色列人就被击败，各人都往自己的帐棚逃跑。这是一场大屠杀，以色列人中有三万步兵阵亡。神的约柜也被抢去，以利的两个儿子何弗尼和非尼哈也死了。

神的殿在示罗有多少日子，但人为自己设立米迦所做的雕像也有多少日子。

我就必使这殿像示罗一样，使这城成为地上列国咒诅的对象。’”

她说：“荣耀已经离开了以色列，因为神的约柜被抢去了。”

以色列全体会众聚集在示罗，把会幕竖立在那里，因为那地在他们面前被征服了。

他丢弃了在示罗的居所，就是他在世人中间居住的帐棚。他又把象征他权能的约柜交给人掳去，把他的荣美交在敌人的手里，并且把自己的子民交给刀剑，向自己的产业大发烈怒。他们的青年被火吞灭，他们的少女也听不见结婚的喜歌。他们的祭司倒在刀下，他们的寡妇却不能哀哭。

军队回到营里，以色列的长老说：“今天耶和华为什么在非利士人面前击败我们呢？我们要把耶和华的约柜从示罗抬到我们这里来。约柜一到我们中间，就会拯救我们脱离仇敌的手。”于是他们派人到示罗去，从那里把坐在二基路伯中间万军之耶和华的约柜抬来；以利的两个儿子，何弗尼和非尼哈，也与神的约柜一同来了。

那时，你要把我吩咐你们的燔祭和其他的祭物、十分之一的礼物和手中的贡献，以及你们向耶和华许愿要献的最美的一切还愿祭，都要带到耶和华你们的神选择作为立他名的地方。

这人每年都从他的本城上示罗去敬拜，献祭给万军之耶和华。在示罗有以利的两个儿子，何弗尼和非尼哈，作耶和华的祭司。

耶和华你们的神从你们各支派中，选择了什么地方作立他名的居所，你们就当到那里求问他；
