“‘ Go now to the place in Shiloh where I first made a dwelling for my Name, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of my people Israel.

“‘ “Go now to the town of Shiloh. Go to the place where I first made a home for my Name. See what I did to it because of the evil things my people Israel were doing.

祂离弃了设在示罗的圣幕，就是祂在人间的居所。祂任凭自己的约柜被人掳去，让自己的荣耀落在敌人手中。祂使自己的子民被刀剑杀戮，向自己的产业大发怒气。青年被烈火吞噬，少女无法婚嫁。祭司丧身刀下，寡妇无法哭丧。

军队回营后，以色列的长老说：“为什么今天耶和华使我们败在非利士人手下？我们从示罗把耶和华的约柜抬来吧，让它与我们同去，好从仇敌手中救我们。”于是，他们派人去示罗把那坐在基路伯天使上的万军之耶和华的约柜抬来。以利的两个儿子何弗尼和非尼哈也随上帝的约柜同来。

你们要把我吩咐你们献的燔祭、各种牲祭、十一奉献、举祭和一切还愿祭带到你们的上帝耶和华选定的敬拜场所。

以利加拿每年都从家乡到示罗去敬拜万军之耶和华，献上祭物。当时以利的两个儿子何弗尼和非尼哈在那里做耶和华的祭司。

你们的上帝耶和华要在你们众支派中选一个地方作祂的居所，你们要去那里敬拜祂，
