容許他們吧；他們是瞎子做領路人；若是瞎子領瞎子，兩個人都會掉在坑裏。』

他們最好的也只像荊棘，最正直的也只像籬笆刺；他們的守望者所說的日子、他們被察罰之日、已經來到；其慌慌亂亂就在眼前了。

你們只好屈身於俘虜之下，仆倒於被殺之人下面。雖有這一切，永恆主的怒氣還未轉消；他的手仍然伸着。

永恆主滿有公義在她中間；他不作非義之事；他天天早晨顯出他的公平，其光並無不繼；但不義的人卻不知羞恥。

屢次受責罰、仍然硬着脖子的、頃刻間必破敗，無法可治。

因此、他們的路、對於他們來說、就像墨黑中的滑地，他們準會被推趕而仆倒的；因為當他們被察罰的年日，我必使災禍臨到他們：這是永恆主發神諭說的。

你又為自己建造圓頂花樓，為自己在各廣場上作了高臺；你在各路頭建造你的高臺，使你的美麗變為可厭惡，你又向一切過路人展開雙腿增多你的淫亂。

結局到了！那結局到了！它醒了起來攻擊你；看吧！就來到了！境內的居民哪，所定的災禍臨到你了！時候到了！日子近了！是鬨嚷擾亂，並不是山上歡呼的日子。如今我快要將我的烈怒傾倒在你身上，向你發盡我的怒氣，按你的行徑判罰你，將你一切可厭惡的事還報與你了。我的眼必不顧惜，我必不可憐；我卻要將你所行的還報與你；而你可厭惡之事的報應必在你中間；你就知道我乃是永恆主。永恆主這麼說：

因為她所殺人流的血還在城中；她是將血潑在光溜溜的磐石上，不是倒在地上，用塵土去掩蓋的。

如今你去領導這人民，往我所告訴你的地方去；看吧，我的使者必在你前面引路。不過在我鑒察的日子，我還是要向他們察罰他們的罪的。』

察罰的日子來了，報應的日子到了，以色列必知道的。神言人愚忘，靈感動的人瘋狂，都因你罪孽之大，仇恨之深。

永恆主發神諭說：我豈不因這些事來施察罰呢？這樣的國我豈不加以報復呢？

他們的結局是滅亡；他們所事奉的神就是自己的肚子；他們所誇耀的是在於他們的羞恥；他們是意念着地上之事的人。

故此必給你們黑夜，全無異象，必給你們黑暗，全無占卜。向「神言人」們、日必落了，對「神言人」們、白晝必變為黑暗了。
