彼行可惡之事、豈有羞惡之心哉。恬不知恥、毫不懷慙、故我耶和華降災之時、必使傾圮、淪胥以亡。

彼行可惡之事、知慚愧乎、彼毫不慚愧、不羞恥、故必傾仆於傾仆者之中、我鑒察之時、彼必顛蹶、此乃主所言、

他們面上的表情指證他們的不對；他們像所多瑪一般宣揚自己的罪惡，並不隱瞞；他們有禍了，因為他們自招禍害。

如果有先知被欺騙說一句話，是我耶和華任那先知受欺騙的；我必伸手攻擊他，把他從我子民以色列中除滅。他們必擔當自己的罪孽；求問的人的罪孽怎樣，先知的罪孽也必怎樣。

由得他們吧！他們是瞎眼的，卻作了嚮導；如果瞎子領瞎子，二人都會跌進坑裡。”

他們中最好的，也不過像荊棘，最正直的，也不過是有刺的籬笆。你的守望者所預言的日子，和你被鑒察的時候，已經來到；現在他們必要慌亂不安。

你們只能屈身在被擄的人中間，或是仆倒在被殺的人中間。雖然這樣，耶和華的怒氣還沒有轉消，他的手仍然伸出。

耶和華在城中是公義的，決不行不義的事；他每日早晨都顯明公正，永不止息。不公義的人卻不知廉恥。

人屢次受責備，仍然硬著頸項，他必突然毀滅，無法挽救。

“因此，他們的路必像滑地；他們必被趕逐到黑暗中，必在那裡仆倒。因為到了懲罰他們的年日，我必使災禍臨到他們。”這是耶和華的宣告。

你又為自己建造高岡，在各廣場上築起高壇。你在各路口建造高壇，使你的美麗變為可憎的，又向每一個過路的人張開兩腿，多行淫亂。

終局到了，終局臨到了，它已經起來跟你作對。看哪，它臨到了！這地的居民哪，災害臨到你了！時候到了，日子近了，是混亂喧嚷的日子，不是山上歡呼的日子。現在我快要把我的烈怒倒在你身上，向你完全發盡我的怒氣。我要按著你的行為審判你，照著你一切可憎的事報應你。我的眼必不顧惜，我也不憐恤。我卻要按著你的行為，照著你中間可憎的事報應你，你們就知道擊打你們的是我耶和華。

因為她所流的血還在城中；她把血潑在光滑的磐石上，不是倒在地上，被塵土掩蓋。

現在你去吧，領這人民到我吩咐你的地方去。看哪，我的使者必在你前面引路；只是在我追討的日子，我必追討他們的罪。”

懲罰的日子臨近，報應的時候來到，以色列必定知道，因著你們眾多的罪孽和深仇大恨，先知被看為愚昧，受靈感動的人被當作瘋子。

我因這些事怎能不施行懲罰呢？像這樣的國家，我怎能不親自報復呢？”這是耶和華的宣告。

他們的結局是滅亡，他們的神是自己的肚腹，他們以自己的羞辱為榮耀，所思想的都是地上的事。

這人民十分頑固，心裡剛硬，我差派你到他們那裡去。你要對他們說：‘主耶和華這樣說。’

因此你們只有黑夜，沒有異象，只有黑暗，沒有默示。對先知，日頭要下落，為他們，白日變為黑暗。
