如果先知受迷惑說預言，那是我耶和華任他胡作非為，我必伸手懲治他，把他從我的以色列百姓中除滅。他們必擔當自己的罪過——假先知與求問的人要擔當同樣的罪過。

隨便他們吧！他們是瞎眼的嚮導。瞎子給瞎子領路，二人都會掉進坑裡。」

他們當中最好的不過是蒺藜，最正直的也不過是荊棘籬笆。你們的守望者所說的日子，就是你們受懲罰的日子已經來到。你們必驚慌失措。

你們將不是被擄就是被殺。雖然如此，耶和華的怒氣還沒有止息，祂降罰的手沒有收回。

但城中的耶和華是公義的，祂絕不做不義之事。祂每天早晨伸張正義，從不間斷。然而，不義之人卻不知羞恥。

屢教不改、頑固不化者，必突然滅亡，無可挽救。

因此，他們必被趕到黑暗中，在濕滑的路上跌倒，因為我必在報應的日子降災禍給他們。這是耶和華說的。

還為自己築祭壇，在各廣場建高高的神廟。你在街頭巷尾建高高的神廟，糟蹋自己的美貌。你向每一個過路的人投懷送抱，縱情淫亂，

結局到了，結局到了，你的結局到了！以色列境內的居民啊，惡運降臨了！時候已到，日子已近，山上一片恐慌，歡樂蕩然無存。我快要向你傾倒我的烈怒，發出我的怒氣。我必按你的行為審判你，照你一切的惡行報應你。我必不顧惜你，也不憐憫你，我必按你的惡行報應你。這樣，你就知道懲罰你的是我耶和華。

這城沾滿血腥，任憑受害者的血流在光禿禿的磐石上，而不是流在地上用土掩蓋。

你現在回去帶領這些百姓，往我指示你的地方去，我的天使必在你前面引路。只是到我懲罰的日子，我必因他們的罪懲罰他們。」

以色列人受懲罰的日子近了，遭報應的時候到了！這點你們要知道。你們罪惡深重，充滿憎恨，以致你們說：「先知是傻瓜，被靈感動的人是瘋子。」

我怎能不懲罰他們呢？我怎能不親自報應這樣的國民呢？這是耶和華說的。

耶和華說：「我怎能坐視不理呢？我怎能不懲罰這樣的國家呢？

他們的神就是自己的肚腹，他們以自己的羞恥為榮，只想著地上的事，他們的結局是滅亡。

我派你到那些頑固不化的人那裡，向他們宣告，『主耶和華這樣說。』

因此，黑夜必籠罩你們，使你們看不見異象；幽暗必臨到你們，使你們無法占卜。太陽要因你們而沉落，白晝變為黑夜。
