所羅門在殿前造了兩根柱子，每根高八米，上面的柱冠高二點二五米。他也造了鏈子，裝飾在柱冠上。他又造了一百個石榴，安在鏈子上。這兩根柱子一左一右立在殿的入口處，他給右邊那根取名叫雅斤，給左邊那根取名叫波阿斯。
