“ They do not know how to do right,” declares the Lord,“ who store up in their fortresses what they have plundered and looted.”Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:“ An enemy will overrun your land, pull down your strongholds and plunder your fortresses.”

I will send fire on Judah that will consume the fortresses of Jerusalem.”

“ All your wives and children will be brought out to the Babylonians. You yourself will not escape from their hands but will be captured by the king of Babylon; and this city will be burned down.”
