There at Riblah the king of Babylon killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes; he also killed all the officials of Judah.

At Riblah the king of Babylon killed the sons of Zedekiah. He forced him to watch it with his own eyes. Nebuchadnezzar also killed all the officials of Judah.

乃殺西底家諸子、使其目睹之、然後瞽其目、繫以銅索、解至巴比倫。

相去一矢、曰、我不忍見子之亡、坐而相對、大聲號泣。

故我耶告華曰、爾既殺人、其尸若肉、斯邑若鼎、惟我逐爾於外。主耶和華又曰、爾懼鋒刃、我以鋒刃擊爾、逐爾出邑、付於異邦人、降災爾躬。以色列族接壤之地、必罹禍患、亡於鋒刃、使知我乃耶和華。斯邑不可為鼎、爾曹不可為肉、以色列族接壤之地、我必降災、

侍衛長尼布撒剌擔擄祭司長西勑亞、祭司之次者西番雅、及閽者三人、城中擄轄武士之宦豎一、王之近臣五、軍中之繕寫、兼掌民數者一、及民眾六十、咸至哈末之立拉、見巴比倫王。巴比倫王殺之。猶大族被虜之事如此。

如我歸而季弟不歸、見父遭禍、吾何忍乎、

侍衛長擄祭司西勑亞、祭司之次者西番雅、與閽者三人。城中擄轄武士之宦豎一、王之近臣七、軍中之繕寫兼掌民數者一、及民眾六十、咸至哈末之立拉、見巴比倫王、巴比倫王殺之、猶大族被虜之事如此。

巴比倫王在立拉、殺西底家之世子、使之目睹、猶大之家亦遭誅殛。抉西底家之目、繫以銅索、被逮於巴比倫、

爾既見此、必致心狂。

老幼、處子、孩提、婦女、俱當誅殛、惟有印誌者勿殺、殺必聖所為始。乃自殿前之長老始。
