“‘ We would have healed Babylon, but she cannot be healed; let us leave her and each go to our own land, for her judgment reaches to the skies, it rises as high as the heavens.’

“ The nations say,‘ We would have healed Babylon. But it can’t be healed. So let’s leave it. Let’s each go to our own land. Babylon’s sins reach all the way to the skies. They rise up as high as the heavens.’

撒瑪利亞有主之先知、名俄德、出、至返撒瑪利亞之軍前、或作出迎往撒瑪利亞之軍告之曰、緣主爾列祖之天主怒猶大故、付之爾手、乃爾怒氣沖天、大行殺戮、

爾所勤勞者、與爾無益若此、自幼與爾貿易者、各奔己鄉、無人救爾、

民曰、穡時已過、夏日已畢、而我未得拯救、

王所見之樹、大大或作長而堅剛、高及於天、至地極可見、其葉榮茂、其果甚多、足飼眾生、野獸伏其蔭下、空中飛鳥棲其枝上、王歟、斯樹即王、王大大或作長而堅剛、盛大及天、權柄直至地極、

適往購時、新娶者至、有備者同入婚筵、而門閉矣、後其餘處女至、曰、主歟、主歟、請為我啟、答曰、我誠告爾、我不識爾曹、是以爾當警醒、因其日其時、爾不知也、又作因爾不知何日何時人子至也○

其中募卒、亦若肥犢、災害之日既至、患難之時既臨、則咸轉身而遁、不立而禦敵、
