He said to Seraiah,“ When you get to Babylon, see that you read all these words aloud.

Jeremiah said to Seraiah,“ When you get to Babylon, here’s what I want you to do. Make sure that you read all these words out loud.

And Jeremiah said to Seraiah:“ When you come to Babylon, see that you read all these words,

And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When thou comest to Babylon, and shalt see, and shalt read all these words;

Then Jeremiah said to Seraiah,“ When you arrive in Babylon, make sure you read aloud all these prophecies.

Jeremiah said to Seraiah,“ When you come to Babylon, then see that you read all these words,

Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. (niv)

This is the text of the letter that the prophet Jeremiah sent from Jerusalem to the surviving elders among the exiles and to the priests, the prophets and all the other people Nebuchadnezzar had carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon.( This was after King Jehoiachin and the queen mother, the court officials and the leaders of Judah and Jerusalem, the skilled workers and the artisans had gone into exile from Jerusalem.) I charge you before the Lord to have this letter read to all the brothers and sisters. (niv)

Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. (niv)

As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him,“ Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!” (niv)

Therefore encourage one another with these words. (niv)
