Yahweh answered me,“ Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he who runs may read it.For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay.

Then took Jeremiah another scroll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah, who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire; and many similar words were added to them.

Now go, write it before them on a tablet, and inscribe it in a book, that it may be for the time to come forever and ever.

“ Yahweh, the God of Israel, says,‘ Write all the words that I have spoken to you in a book.For, behold, the days come,’ says Yahweh,‘ that I will reverse the captivity of my people Israel and Judah,’ says Yahweh.‘ I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they will possess it.’”

“ Take a scroll of a book, and write in it all the words that I have spoken to you against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spoke to you, from the days of Josiah, even to this day.It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I intend to do to them; that they may each return from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.”Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah; and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all Yahweh’s words, which he had spoken to him, on a scroll of a book.

Write therefore the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will happen hereafter.

Yahweh said to me,“ Take a large tablet, and write on it with a man’s pen,‘ For Maher Shalal Hash Baz’;and I will take for myself faithful witnesses to testify: Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.”I went to the prophetess, and she conceived, and bore a son. Then Yahweh said to me,“ Call his name‘ Maher Shalal Hash Baz.’For before the child knows how to say,‘ My father,’ and,‘ My mother,’ the riches of Damascus and the plunder of Samaria will be carried away by the king of Assyria.”

But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end. Many will run back and forth, and knowledge will be increased.”

saying,“ What you see, write in a book and send to the seven assemblies: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”
