For Israel and Judah have not been forsaken by their God, the Lord Almighty, though their land is full of guilt before the Holy One of Israel.

The land of Israel and Judah is full of guilt. Its people have sinned against me. But I have not deserted them. I am their God. I am the Lord who rules over all. I am the Holy One of Israel.

For Israel and Judah have not been forsaken by their God, the Lord of hosts, but the land of the Chaldeans is full of guilt against the Holy One of Israel.

因为你要左右扩展，你的后裔必占有列国为继业，又在荒凉的城邑居住。“不要害怕，因你必不致蒙羞；不要愧疚，因你必不致受辱。你将忘记你青春时的耻辱，不再记起你寡居时的羞耻；因为造你的是你的丈夫，他的名是万军之耶和华；救赎你的是以色列的圣者，他被称为全地的神。因为耶和华召唤你，像召唤被离弃、灵里忧伤的妻子，就是年轻时所娶又被弃绝的妻子。”这是你的神说的。“我只是短暂地离弃了你，但我要以极大的怜悯招聚你；我在怒气涨溢的时候，曾经短暂地向你掩面，但我要以永远的慈爱怜悯你。”这是耶和华你的救赎主说的。“对于我，这就像挪亚洪水的时候——我怎样起誓不让挪亚洪水再次漫过大地，我也要怎样起誓不对你发怒，也不斥责你。大山或可移开，小山或可挪动，但我的慈爱必不离开你，我平安的约也不挪移！”这是怜悯你的耶和华说的。“你这经受困苦、屡遭风暴、不得安慰的城啊！看哪！我必把你的石头安置在金属锑上，以蓝宝石奠定你的根基，

因为耶和华不撇弃他的子民，不离弃他的继业；

那么，我要问，难道神弃绝了他的子民吗？绝对没有！其实我也是以色列人，亚伯拉罕的后裔，属于便雅悯支派。神并没有弃绝自己预先所知道的子民。难道你们不知道那有关以利亚的经文怎么说吗？他怎样向神抱怨以色列人呢？

锡安说：“耶和华离弃了我，我的主忘记了我！”耶和华说：“女人怎能忘记自己吃奶的婴孩，不怜悯她亲生的孩子呢？即使她们可能忘记，我也不会忘记你。

要知道，耶和华为他大名的缘故，必不会撇弃他的子民，因为耶和华愿意你们作他的子民。
