歲有浮言、長者搆兵、鬥聲聞於斯土、爾勿喪膽、勿恐懼。

斯地聞凶信、此年有凶信、明年更有凶信、強暴之事、遍於斯地、暴虐者繼暴虐者、爾勿因以喪膽恐懼、

Do not lose heart or be afraid when rumors are heard in the land; one rumor comes this year, another the next, rumors of violence in the land and of ruler against ruler.

You will hear about terrible things that are happening in Babylon. But do not lose hope. Do not be afraid. You will hear one thing this year. And you will hear something else next year. You will hear about awful things in the land. You will hear about one ruler fighting against another.

Let not your heart faint, and be not fearful at the report heard in the land, when a report comes in one year and afterward a report in another year, and violence is in the land, and ruler is against ruler.

But do not panic; don’t be afraid when you hear the first rumor of approaching forces. For rumors will keep coming year by year. Violence will erupt in the land as the leaders fight against each other.

May you not become cowardly and fearful when the report is proclaimed in the land, for the report will come one year, and then another the next year. There will be violence in the land with ruler against ruler.

Now, so that your heart does not grow faint, And you are not afraid at the report that will be heard in the land— For the report will come in one year, And after that another report in another year, And violence will be in the land With ruler against ruler—

And lest your heart faint, And you fear for the rumor that will be heard in the land( A rumor will come one year, And after that, in another year A rumor will come, And violence in the land, Ruler against ruler),

And let not your heart faint, neither fear ye for the tidings that shall be heard in the land; for tidings shall come one year, and after that in another year shall come tidings, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.

Do not lose your courage or become afraid because of the reports that are heard in the land. For a report will come in one year. Another report will follow it in the next. There will be violence in the land with ruler fighting against ruler.”

Don’t let your heart faint. Don’t fear for the news that will be heard in the land. For news will come one year, and after that in another year news will come, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.

「我必使埃及人彼此為敵——手足相殘，鄰居互鬥，城邑相爭，邦國互攻。

我看見一個令人膽戰心驚的異象：「詭詐的在行詭詐，毀滅的在行毀滅。以攔人啊，攻打吧！瑪代人啊，圍城吧！耶和華必終止巴比倫帶來的痛苦。」這使我充滿痛苦，我陷入劇痛中，如同分娩的婦人，我因聽見的話而驚慌，因看見的景象而害怕。

掃羅在便雅憫境內基比亞的哨兵看見非利士軍隊四散奔逃，潰不成軍。掃羅對跟隨他的人說：「你們查一查，看誰離開了軍營？」結果發現約拿單和為他拿兵器的人不見了。掃羅對亞希亞說：「把上帝的約櫃抬來。」那時上帝的約櫃在以色列人那裡。掃羅和祭司說話的時候，非利士人營裡越來越混亂。掃羅對祭司說：「停手吧。」他和跟隨他的人聚集起來，衝入戰場，發現非利士人正互相殘殺，亂作一團。

「你們聽見戰爭爆發、戰訊頻傳時，不要驚慌，因為這些事必然發生，只是末日還沒有到。「民族將與民族互鬥，國家將與國家相爭，各處將有地震和饑荒。這些只是災難的開始。

當這些事發生時，你們要昂首挺胸，因為你們蒙救贖的日子近了。」

我的僕人雅各啊，不要害怕！以色列人啊，不要驚慌！因為我要從遠方把你們救回來，使你們從流亡之地歸回。你們必重返家園，安享太平，無人攪擾。

基甸的三百人一起吹響號角時，耶和華使米甸人自相殘殺。他們逃往西利拉的伯·哈示他，一直逃到靠近他巴的亞伯·米何拉的邊境。

你們聽見戰爭爆發、戰訊頻傳時，不要驚慌，因為這些事必然發生，只是末日還沒有到。民族將與民族互鬥，國家將與國家相爭，各處將有饑荒和地震。這些只是災難的開始。

你們聽見打仗和叛亂的事，不要害怕，因為這些事一定會先發生，但末日將不會立刻來臨。」耶穌接著說：「民族將與民族互鬥，國家將與國家相爭，將有大地震，各處將有饑荒和瘟疫，天上也將出現恐怖的景象和大異兆。「這些事情出現之前，人們要拘捕你們，迫害你們，把你們押到會堂和監牢，你們將為了我的名而被君王和官長審問。那時，正是你們為我做見證的好機會。你們要立定心志，不要為怎樣申辯而憂慮，因為我會賜給你們口才、智慧，使你們的仇敵全無反駁的餘地。你們將被父母、弟兄、親戚、朋友出賣，你們有些人會被他們害死。你們將為我的名而被眾人憎恨，但你們連一根頭髮也不會失落。你們只要堅忍到底，必能保全自己的靈魂。

原來亞捫人和摩押人攻擊來自西珥山的人，消滅了他們，然後亞捫人和摩押人又自相殘殺。
