For Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says:“ The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time when it is trodden. Yet a little while, and the time of harvest comes for her.”

This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:“ Daughter Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time it is trampled; the time to harvest her will soon come.”

The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,“ The city of Babylon is like a threshing floor when cattle are walking on it. The time to destroy it will soon come.”

For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time when it is trodden; yet a little while and the time of her harvest will come.”

This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ Babylon is like wheat on a threshing floor, about to be trampled. In just a little while her harvest will begin.”

For this is what the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: Daughter Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time it is trampled. In just a little while her harvest time will come.

“ Also, Judah, there is a harvest appointed for you, when I restore the fortunes of my people.

Behold, I have made you into a new sharp threshing instrument with teeth. You will thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and will make the hills like chaff.You will winnow them, and the wind will carry them away, and the whirlwind will scatter them. You will rejoice in Yahweh. You will glory in the Holy One of Israel.

Arise and thresh, daughter of Zion; for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs bronze; and you will beat in pieces many peoples: and I will devote their gain to Yahweh, and their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.

The enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels.

You marched through the land in wrath. You threshed the nations in anger.

It will be like when the harvester gathers the wheat, and his arm reaps the grain. Yes, it will be like when one gleans grain in the valley of Rephaim.Yet gleanings will be left there, like the shaking of an olive tree, two or three olives in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outermost branches of a fruitful tree,” says Yahweh, the God of Israel.In that day, people will look to their Maker, and their eyes will have respect for the Holy One of Israel.They will not look to the altars, the work of their hands; neither shall they respect that which their fingers have made, either the Asherah poles, or the incense altars.In that day, their strong cities will be like the forsaken places in the woods and on the mountain top, which were forsaken from before the children of Israel; and it will be a desolation.For you have forgotten the God of your salvation, and have not remembered the rock of your strength. Therefore you plant pleasant plants, and set out foreign seedlings.In the day of your planting, you hedge it in. In the morning, you make your seed blossom, but the harvest flees away in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.

Another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud,“ Send your sickle, and reap; for the hour to reap has come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe!”He who sat on the cloud thrust his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.Another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven. He also had a sharp sickle.Another angel came out from the altar, he who has power over fire, and he called with a great voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying,“ Send your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for the earth’s grapes are fully ripe!”The angel thrust his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth, and threw it into the great wine press of the wrath of God.The wine press was trodden outside of the city, and blood came out of the wine press, even to the bridles of the horses, as far as one thousand six hundred stadia.

Yahweh says:“ For three transgressions of Damascus, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron;

Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the harvest time I will tell the reapers,“ First, gather up the darnel weeds, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”

For before the harvest, when the blossom is over, and the flower becomes a ripening grape, he will cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and he will cut down and take away the spreading branches.
