This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:“ Daughter Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time it is trampled; the time to harvest her will soon come.”

The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,“ The city of Babylon is like a threshing floor when cattle are walking on it. The time to destroy it will soon come.”

For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time when it is trodden; yet a little while and the time of her harvest will come.”

This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ Babylon is like wheat on a threshing floor, about to be trampled. In just a little while her harvest will begin.”

For this is what the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: Daughter Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time it is trampled. In just a little while her harvest time will come.

For this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:“ The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor At the time that it is tread down; In just a little while the time of harvest will come for her.”

For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:“ The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor When it is time to thresh her; Yet a little while And the time of her harvest will come.”

My people who are crushed on the threshing floor, I tell you what I have heard from the Lord Almighty, from the God of Israel.

Swing the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, trample the grapes, for the winepress is full and the vats overflow— so great is their wickedness!”

“ Also for you, Judah, a harvest is appointed.“ Whenever I would restore the fortunes of my people,

“ See, I will make you into a threshing sledge, new and sharp, with many teeth. You will thresh the mountains and crush them, and reduce the hills to chaff.You will winnow them, the wind will pick them up, and a gale will blow them away. But you will rejoice in the Lord and glory in the Holy One of Israel.

“ Rise and thresh, Daughter Zion, for I will give you horns of iron; I will give you hooves of bronze, and you will break to pieces many nations.” You will devote their ill- gotten gains to the Lord, their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.

and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.

In wrath you strode through the earth and in anger you threshed the nations.

It will be as when reapers harvest the standing grain, gathering the grain in their arms— as when someone gleans heads of grain in the Valley of Rephaim.Yet some gleanings will remain, as when an olive tree is beaten, leaving two or three olives on the topmost branches, four or five on the fruitful boughs,” declares the Lord, the God of Israel.In that day people will look to their Maker and turn their eyes to the Holy One of Israel.They will not look to the altars, the work of their hands, and they will have no regard for the Asherah poles and the incense altars their fingers have made.In that day their strong cities, which they left because of the Israelites, will be like places abandoned to thickets and undergrowth. And all will be desolation.You have forgotten God your Savior; you have not remembered the Rock, your fortress. Therefore, though you set out the finest plants and plant imported vines,though on the day you set them out, you make them grow, and on the morning when you plant them, you bring them to bud, yet the harvest will be as nothing in the day of disease and incurable pain.

Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud,“ Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.”So he who was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.Another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle.Still another angel, who had charge of the fire, came from the altar and called in a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle,“ Take your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth’s vine, because its grapes are ripe.”The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath.They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses’ bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia.

This is what the Lord says:“ For three sins of Damascus, even for four, I will not relent. Because she threshed Gilead with sledges having iron teeth,

Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’”

For, before the harvest, when the blossom is gone and the flower becomes a ripening grape, he will cut off the shoots with pruning knives, and cut down and take away the spreading branches.
