This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:“ Daughter Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time it is trampled; the time to harvest her will soon come.”

The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,“ The city of Babylon is like a threshing floor when cattle are walking on it. The time to destroy it will soon come.”

For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time when it is trodden; yet a little while and the time of her harvest will come.”

This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ Babylon is like wheat on a threshing floor, about to be trampled. In just a little while her harvest will begin.”

看哪，我已使你成為有快齒打糧的新器具；你要把山嶺打得粉碎，使岡陵如同糠粃。你要把它簸揚，風要吹去；旋風要把它颳散。你倒要以耶和華為喜樂，以以色列的聖者為誇耀。

錫安的民哪，起來踹穀吧！我必使你的角成為鐵，使你的蹄成為銅。你必打碎多國的民，將他們的財獻與耶和華，將他們的貨獻與普天下的主。

撒稗子的仇敵就是魔鬼；收割的時候就是世界的末了；收割的人就是天使。

你發忿恨通行大地，發怒氣責打列國，如同打糧。

就必像收割的人收斂禾稼，用手割取穗子，又像人在利乏音谷拾取遺落的穗子。其間所剩下的不多，好像人打橄欖樹－在儘上的枝梢上只剩兩三個果子；在多果樹的旁枝上只剩四五個果子。這是耶和華－以色列的神說的。當那日，人必仰望造他們的主，眼目重看以色列的聖者。他們必不仰望祭壇，就是自己手所築的，也不重看自己指頭所做的，無論是木偶是日像。在那日，他們的堅固城必像樹林中和山頂上所撇棄的地方，就是從前在以色列人面前被人撇棄的。這樣，地就荒涼了。因你忘記救你的神，不記念你能力的磐石；所以，你栽上佳美的樹秧子，插上異樣的栽子。栽種的日子，你周圍圈上籬笆，又到早晨使你所種的開花；但在愁苦極其傷痛的日子，所收割的都飛去了。

又有一位天使從殿中出來，向那坐在雲上的大聲喊着說：「伸出你的鐮刀來收割；因為收割的時候已經到了，地上的莊稼已經熟透了。」那坐在雲上的，就把鐮刀扔在地上，地上的莊稼就被收割了。又有一位天使從天上的殿中出來，他也拿着快鐮刀。又有一位天使從祭壇中出來，是有權柄管火的，向拿着快鐮刀的大聲喊着說：「伸出快鐮刀來，收取地上葡萄樹的果子，因為葡萄熟透了！」那天使就把鐮刀扔在地上，收取了地上的葡萄，丟在神忿怒的大酒醡中。那酒醡踹在城外，就有血從酒醡裏流出來，高到馬的嚼環，遠有六百里。

耶和華如此說：大馬士革三番四次地犯罪，我必不免去她的刑罰；因為她以打糧食的鐵器打過基列。

容這兩樣一齊長，等着收割。當收割的時候，我要對收割的人說，先將稗子薅出來，捆成捆，留着燒；惟有麥子要收在倉裏。』」

收割之先，花開已謝，花也成了將熟的葡萄；他必用鐮刀削去嫩枝，又砍掉蔓延的枝條，
