This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:“ Daughter Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time it is trampled; the time to harvest her will soon come.”

The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,“ The city of Babylon is like a threshing floor when cattle are walking on it. The time to destroy it will soon come.”

For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time when it is trodden; yet a little while and the time of her harvest will come.”

This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ Babylon is like wheat on a threshing floor, about to be trampled. In just a little while her harvest will begin.”

For this is what the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: Daughter Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time it is trampled. In just a little while her harvest time will come.

For this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:“ The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor At the time that it is tread down; In just a little while the time of harvest will come for her.”

For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:“ The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor When it is time to thresh her; Yet a little while And the time of her harvest will come.”

猶大啊，你必得到我給你定的下場。

看啊，我要使你成為一具簇新、帶許多利齒的打穀器。你要打爛高山，使丘陵碎如糠秕。你要簸它們，讓風吹散它們，讓狂風捲走它們。但你要以耶和華為喜樂，以以色列的聖者為榮耀。

耶和華說：「錫安城啊，起來打穀吧！我要給你鐵角，我要給你銅蹄。你要打碎列國，將他們的不義之財獻給耶和華，把他們的財富獻給普天下的主。」

撒毒麥的仇敵就是魔鬼。收割的日子便是世界的末日，收割的工人就是天使。

你懷著烈怒走遍大地，踐踏萬國。

國家好像一塊已收割的田地，又像撿淨麥穗的利乏音谷。倖存者寥寥無幾，就像打過的橄欖樹上剩下的果子，或兩三個掛在樹梢，或四五個殘存在枝頭。」這是以色列的上帝耶和華說的。到那日，人們必仰望他們的創造主，向以色列的聖者求助。那時他們不再仰望自己製造的祭壇，也不再供奉自己指頭所造的亞舍拉神像和香壇。到那日，他們因以色列人到來而遺棄的堅城必變為山林和高崗，一片荒涼。以色列人啊，你們忘記了拯救你們的上帝，不記得那保護你們的磐石。所以，你們雖然栽種佳美的秧子，插上遠方運來的樹苗，使它們在栽種的當天早上就生長開花，也必一無所獲。你們得到的只是艱難和無盡的痛苦。

有一位天使從殿中出來，揚聲向坐在雲上的那位說：「揮動你的鐮刀收割吧！地上的莊稼已經熟透了，可以收割了。」於是，坐在雲上的那位便向大地揮動鐮刀，把地上的莊稼都收割了。另一位天使手裡也拿著鋒利的鐮刀從天上的殿中出來。又有一位掌管烈火的天使從祭壇那裡出來，對手拿鐮刀的天使高喊：「揮動你鋒利的鐮刀，收取地上葡萄樹的果實吧！它們已經熟透了。」於是，那天使揮動鐮刀，收取了地上的葡萄，拋到上帝烈怒的大榨酒池中。葡萄在城外的榨酒池中被踩踏，血從榨酒池中湧出，高至馬的嚼環，流了三百公里遠。

耶和華說：「大馬士革人三番四次地犯罪，我必不收回對他們的懲罰，因為他們用打糧食的鐵器蹂躪基列。

讓它們跟麥子一起生長吧，到收割的時候，我會吩咐收割的工人先把毒麥收集起來，紮成捆，留著燒，然後將麥子存入穀倉。』」

在收割之前，在花已凋謝、葡萄將熟之時，耶和華必毀滅古實人，就像用刀削去葡萄樹的嫩枝，砍掉蔓延的枝條。
