毀滅天下的大山——巴比倫啊，我與你為敵，我要伸手攻擊你，把你從懸崖上滾下去，使你化為灰燼。這是耶和華說的。

耶和华说：“你这行毁灭的山哪，就是毁灭天下的山，我与你反对。我必向你伸手，将你从山岩滚下去，使你成为烧毁的山。

行毁灭的山，看哪，我与你为敌，你毁灭全地，我必伸手攻击你，将你从山岩滚下去，使你成为烧毁了的山。这是耶和华说的。

耶和華曰、爾巴比倫邑若山、天下黎庶、遭爾淪喪、我將舉手攻爾、推爾磛巖、焚爾峰巔、

主曰、爾施毀滅之山、毀滅天下者、我臨爾、舉手以攻爾、自山巖中推爾輾轉而下、使爾為焚燬之山、

“ I am against you, you destroying mountain, you who destroy the whole earth,” declares the Lord.“ I will stretch out my hand against you, roll you off the cliffs, and make you a burned-out mountain.

“ Babylon, I am against you. Your kingdom is like a destroying mountain. You have destroyed the whole earth,” announces the Lord.“ I will reach out my hand against you. I will roll you off the cliffs. I will make you like a mountain that has been burned up.

“ Behold, I am against you, O destroying mountain, declares the Lord, which destroys the whole earth; I will stretch out my hand against you, and roll you down from the crags, and make you a burnt mountain.

“ Look, O mighty mountain, destroyer of the earth! I am your enemy,” says the Lord.“ I will raise my fist against you, to knock you down from the heights. When I am finished, you will be nothing but a heap of burnt rubble.

Look, I am against you, devastating mountain. This is the LORD’s declaration. You devastate the whole earth. I will stretch out my hand against you, roll you down from the cliffs, and turn you into a charred mountain.

“ Behold, I am against you, mountain of destruction That destroys the whole earth,” declares the Lord,“ And I will stretch out My hand against you, And roll you down from the rocky cliffs, And I will make you a burnt out mountain.

“ Behold, I am against you, O destroying mountain, Who destroys all the earth,” says the Lord.“ And I will stretch out My hand against you, Roll you down from the rocks, And make you a burnt mountain.

Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith Jehovah, which destroyest all the earth; and I will stretch out my hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.

Look, I am against you, devastating mountain— this is the Lord’s declaration— you devastate the whole earth. I will stretch out My hand against you, roll you down from the cliffs, and turn you into a charred mountain.

Behold, I[ am] against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.

The LORD says,“ Beware! I am opposed to you, Babylon! You are like a destructive mountain that destroys all the earth. I will unleash my power against you; I will roll you off the cliffs and make you like a burned-out mountain.

“ Behold, I am against you, destroying mountain,” says Yahweh,“ which destroys all the earth. I will stretch out my hand on you, roll you down from the rocks, and will make you a burned mountain.

第二位天使吹號的時候，一座好像燃燒的大山被丟進海裡。海洋的三分之一變成了血，

要在光禿的山頂上豎立旗幟，向戰士高呼，揮手示意他們進攻貴族居住的城。

「主——萬軍之耶和華說，『狂傲的人啊，我要與你為敵，我懲罰你的時候到了。

說：「這宏偉的巴比倫豈不是我用大能建立為京都，以顯我的威嚴和榮耀嗎？」

我給耶路撒冷和猶大的城邑，以及猶大的君王和官員喝這杯烈怒，使他們的城邑淪為廢墟，令人驚懼，被嘲笑和咒詛，正如今日一樣。喝這杯烈怒的還有埃及王法老及其王公大臣和全體百姓，他們當中所有的外族人，烏斯的眾王和統治亞實基倫、迦薩、以革倫以及亞實突餘民的非利士眾王，以東、摩押和亞捫人，泰爾的眾王、西頓的眾王和海島上的眾王，底但、提瑪、布斯和所有剃鬢髮的人，阿拉伯的眾王和荒野各族的諸王，心利的眾王、以攔的眾王和瑪代的眾王，北方諸王——無論遠近、一個接一個，以及天下萬國，最後是巴比倫王。耶和華對我說：「你要告訴他們，以色列的上帝——萬軍之耶和華說，『你們要喝這杯烈怒，喝得大醉、嘔吐、倒地不起，因為我要使戰爭臨到你們。』

萬軍之耶和華說：「巴比倫寬闊的城牆要被夷為平地，高大的城門要被付之一炬，人們一切的辛勞都是徒然，列國勞碌的成果都化為灰燼。」

拿著七碗的七位天使中有一位前來對我說：「你過來！我要讓你看那坐在眾水之上的大淫婦將要遭受的刑罰。地上的君王與她行淫，地上其他人也因喝了她淫亂的酒而酩酊大醉。」那時，我被聖靈感動，被天使帶到曠野，在那裡見到一個婦人騎著一隻朱紅色的怪獸。怪獸有七頭十角，渾身寫滿褻瀆上帝的名號。那婦人身穿紫色和朱紅色的袍子，用黃金、寶石及珍珠裝扮自己。她手中拿著金杯，裡面盛滿了她淫亂的污穢、可憎之物。在她額上還寫了一個神秘的名號：「大巴比倫——地上淫婦及可憎事物之母」。我又見她醉了，因她喝了眾聖徒的血，就是為耶穌做見證之人的血。我看見她，非常驚奇。

耶和華說：「巴比倫啊！你是我的錘子，我作戰的兵器，我要用你打碎列國，毀滅列邦。我要用你打碎戰馬和騎士，打碎戰車和車夫，打碎男人和婦女，打碎老人和小孩，打碎少男和少女，打碎牧人和牲畜，打碎農夫和耕牛，打碎省長和總督。」

「那些曾與她通姦享樂的君王目睹焚燒她的煙，必為她哭泣哀號。他們對她所受的災禍充滿恐懼，就遠遠地站著說，『強大堅固的巴比倫城啊，真悲慘！真悲慘！因為審判頃刻間臨到你了。』

我要召集北方各族和我的僕人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，去攻擊這片土地和其中的居民以及周圍各國。我要徹底毀滅他們，使他們的下場很可怕、令人嗤笑、土地永遠荒涼。這是耶和華說的。

即使巴比倫城高聳入雲，堡壘堅不可摧，我仍要差遣毀滅者攻擊它。這是耶和華說的。

巴比倫在耶和華手中曾是灌醉天下的金杯，列國喝了她的酒都變得癲狂。

說：「來吧，讓我們造一座城和一座高聳入雲的塔，這樣我們可以揚名天下，不致分散在地上。」

不過，主再來的日子要像賊一樣突然臨到。那日，諸天必在一聲巨響中消失，有形有質的都要被烈火焚毀，大地和其中的一切將不復存在。
