打碎戰車和車夫，打碎男人和婦女，打碎老人和小孩，打碎少男和少女，

用你打碎男人和女人，打碎老人和少年，打碎壮丁和少女；

打碎战车和车夫，打碎男人和妇女，打碎老人和小孩，打碎少男和少女，

我用你打碎男人和妇女，用你打碎老年人和少年人，用你打碎少男和少女。

用你打碎男人和女人；用你打碎老年人和少年人；用你打碎壯丁和處女；

用你打碎男人和女人，打碎老人和少年，打碎壯丁和少女；

用你來打碎男人和女人；用你來打碎老年人和少年人；用你來打碎壯丁和處女；

用爾碎車與駕之者、用爾碎男女老幼、用爾碎少者處女、

男女老幼、壯士處女、皆為爾所喪敗。

and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and him that rideth therein; and with thee will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces the old man and the youth; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the virgin;

耶和華使迦勒底人的王起兵攻打他們，在他們的聖殿裡用刀擊殺他們的壯丁，毫不憐憫少男少女、老人和年高者。耶和華把他們全部交在他的手中。

他們必用弓箭射死青年，不憐憫嬰兒，也不顧惜孩童。

外有刀劍殺戮，內有恐懼籠罩，少男、少女、嬰兒、老人無一倖免。

亞述王必把埃及和古實的老老少少裸身赤足地擄走，使埃及蒙受羞辱。

將男女老幼全部殺盡，但你們不能傷害額上有記號的。你們要從聖所開始。」於是他們首先殺了殿前的眾長老。

他們的嬰孩將被摔死在他們眼前，家園遭劫掠，妻子被蹂躪。

我哭得眼睛失明，心如刀割，肝膽欲碎，因為人民慘遭毀滅，兒童和嬰孩昏倒在街頭。

耶和華啊，我怒你所怒，無法容忍。耶和華說：「你把我的怒氣發向街頭的孩童和聚集成群的青年。丈夫、妻子和老人都要一同被擄。

你現在要去攻打他們，徹底消滅他們和他們擁有的一切，把男女老幼、牛羊駱駝和驢全部殺掉，一個不留。』」
