When He utters His voice— There is a multitude of waters in the heavens:“ He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightnings for the rain; He brings the wind out of His treasuries.”

At Your rebuke they fled; At the voice of Your thunder they hastened away.

“ Have you entered the treasury of snow, Or have you seen the treasury of hail,

“ Are you not like the people of Ethiopia to Me, O children of Israel?” says the Lord.“ Did I not bring up Israel from the land of Egypt, The Philistines from Caphtor, And the Syrians from Kir?

But He said to them,“ Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.So the men marveled, saying,“ Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

The voice of the Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The Lord is over many waters.The voice of the Lord is powerful; The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars, Yes, the Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon.He makes them also skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox.The voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire.The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; The Lord shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth, And strips the forests bare; And in His temple everyone says,“ Glory!”The Lord sat enthroned at the Flood, And the Lord sits as King forever.

So Moses stretched out his rod over the land of Egypt, and the Lord brought an east wind on the land all that day and all that night. When it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
