They fled from Your rebuke, At the sound of Your thunder they hurried away.

So the Lord shifted the wind to a very strong west wind, which picked up the locusts and drove them into the Red Sea; not one locust was left in all the territory of Egypt.

Behold, God is exalted, and we do not know Him; The number of His years is unsearchable.For He draws up the drops of water; They distill rain from its celestial stream,Which clouds pour down; They drip upon mankind abundantly.Can anyone understand the spreading of the clouds, The thundering of His pavilion?Behold, He spreads His lightning about Him, And He covers the depths of the sea.For by them He judges peoples; He gives food in abundance.He covers His hands with the lightning, And commands it to strike the target.Its thundering voice declares His presence; The livestock also, concerning what is coming up.

Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, And have you seen the storehouses of the hail,

“ Are you not as the sons of Ethiopia to Me, You sons of Israel?” declares the Lord.“ Have I not brought up Israel from the land of Egypt, And the Philistines from Caphtor and the Arameans from Kir?

He* said to them,“ Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm.The men were amazed, and said,“ What kind of a man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

The voice of the Lord is on the waters; The God of glory thunders, The Lord is over many waters.The voice of the Lord is powerful, The voice of the Lord is majestic.The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars; Yes, the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon in pieces.He makes Lebanon skip like a calf, And Sirion like a young wild ox.The voice of the Lord divides flames of fire.The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; The Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth And strips the forests bare; And in His temple everything says,“ Glory!”The Lord sat as King at the flood; Yes, the Lord sits as King forever.

So Moses reached out with his staff over the land of Egypt, and the Lord directed an east wind on the land all that day and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
