原来，自从创世以来，神那不可见的本性，就是他永恒的大能和神性，都藉着所造之物，被人明白、被人看见，以致使人无法推诿。

耶和华藉着智慧奠定大地的根基，藉着聪慧确立诸天；

耶和华披戴光明如披衣裳，展开诸天如幔帐。

“我们的主、我们的神哪，你配接受荣耀、尊贵和权能，因为你创造了万有；万有是因着你的旨意而存在、被创造的。”

以雅各的神为自己的帮助、以耶和华神为自己盼望的，那人是蒙福的！造诸天、大地、海洋和其中一切的那一位，他必持守信实，直到永远。

喊着说：“各位，你们为什么做这些事呢？我们和你们同样是人！我们向你们传福音，是要你们离弃这些虚妄的事，归向永生的神，就是造了天、地、海和其中万有的神。

我亲手奠定了大地的根基，我的右手展开了诸天；我一召唤它们，它们就一同立起。

当称谢那藉着聪慧造了诸天的，因他的慈爱永远长存！

竟忘记了那造你的耶和华，就是展开诸天、奠定大地根基的那一位；竟终日不断地惧怕，就是惧怕压迫者预备行毁灭时的怒火！其实那压迫者的怒火在哪里呢？

他一吩咐，暴风就兴起，扬起海洋的波涛。

哦，深奥啊！神的智慧和知识的财富！他的判断是多么地无法探究，他的道是多么地无法测度！

神耶和华创造诸天，展开穹苍，铺张地和地所出的一切，又把气息赐给地上的众人，把灵赐给行在其中的人——神耶和华如此说：

但在末后的这些日子里，神藉着他的儿子向我们说话。神预定了他为万有的继承人，也藉着他造了宇宙。他是神荣耀的光辉，是神本体的真像，以自己大能的话语托住万有。他成就了洁净罪孽的事，就坐在高天至尊者的右边。

是我造了地，又在其上创造人；是我亲手展开了诸天，又命定其中的万象。

造了宇宙和其中万有的神，这一位既然是天地的主，就不住在人手所造的殿宇里，

你的救赎主耶和华——从你在母腹中就塑造了你，他如此说：“是我耶和华造了万物，我独自展开了诸天，我单独铺张了大地；

耶和华啊，你所做的何其多！你藉着智慧成就了这一切，大地充满了你的创造；

因为万有都是藉着他造的：天上和地上的，看得见和看不见的，无论王位或主权，统治的或掌权的，一切都是藉着他造的，也是为他而造的，他在万有之先，万有也藉着他而存在，

你们向高天举目观看吧！是谁创造了这些万象？是按着数目把万象领出来的那一位！他一一点其名；因他的大能大力，它们一个也不缺失。

神坐在大地的圆穹之上，地上的居民好像蚱蜢。他展开诸天如幔子，铺张穹苍如居住的帐篷。

哈利路亚！你们当从天上赞美耶和华，在高处赞美他！他的众使者啊，你们当赞美他！他的众天军啊，你们当赞美他！太阳和月亮啊，你们当赞美他！所有放光的星辰哪，你们当赞美他！诸天上的诸天哪，诸天上的众水啊，你们当赞美他！愿这一切都赞美耶和华的名，因为他一吩咐，它们就被造成。

起初，神创造诸天和大地。那时大地空虚混沌，黑暗在渊面上，神的灵运行在水面上。神说：“要有光”，就有了光。神看光是好的。神把光和黑暗分开，神称光为“昼”，称黑暗为“夜”。有晚上，有早晨；这是第一日。神说：“让众水之间有穹苍，把水和水分开。”
