Lift up a banner against the walls of Babylon! Reinforce the guard, station the watchmen, prepare an ambush! The Lord will carry out his purpose, his decree against the people of Babylon.

Lift up a banner! Attack Babylon’s walls! Put more guards on duty! Station more of them to watch over you! Hide and wait to attack them! I will do what I have planned. I will do what I have decided to do against the people of Babylon.

尼尼微啊，那擊碎邦國者上來攻擊你呢！你務要固守堡障，防衛道路，緊束腰身，拚命奮力哦！（

『你們要傳揚於列國中，使他們聽到，要把旌旗豎起；要使人聽到，不可隱瞞，說：「巴比倫已被攻取，彼勒蒙羞愧，米羅達驚慌；巴比倫的神像都蒙羞愧，她的偶像都驚慌。」

沒有智慧、沒有明達、沒有謀略能敵得過永恆主。

『你們要在境內豎起旌旗。在列邦中吹號角，使列邦行聖禮備戰來攻擊巴比倫，將亞拉臘、米尼、亞實基拿這些國召集來攻擊她；又派大元帥來擊打她，使馬匹上來像翅膀林立的蝻子。

受圍困用的水、你儘管打呀！你的堡壘、你儘管加強設備啊！你儘管踹泥、儘管踐踏泥土！儘管抓緊磚模啊！就在那裏、火就要燒滅你了，刀劍就要剪滅你，吞滅你、像蝻子吞喫五穀。任你增多如蝻子吧！任你增多如蝗蟲吧！

要在列國中宣告以下這話：要行聖禮準備爭戰，要激動勇士；一切戰士都要接戰，都要上陣。要將犂頭打成刀劍，將鐮刀打成為槍；軟弱的要說：『我是勇士。』四圍各方的列國啊，趕來救助，集合在一起吧！永恆主啊，叫你的勇士下來哦！列國務要振奮激動上約沙法谷哦；因為我要在那裏坐堂審判四圍各方列國了。伸出鐮刀割哦！因為莊稼熟了。進去踐踏哦！因為酒醡滿了。酒池盈溢着呢；因為他們的敗壞很大呀。喧天震地的陣陣羣眾在判決谷裏；因為永恆主的日子臨近了判決谷了。

永恆主成就了他所計畫的，實行了他威嚴的話，就是他古時所命定的；他翻毁了，並不顧惜；他使你仇敵因勝過你而喜悅，使你敵人的角高舉。

『你們要把小盾大牌擺好，前進去上陣！要套上車，騎上馬！頂盔站在陣位上！磨槍貫甲！怎麼啦！我看見他們都驚慌，轉身退後呀！他們的勇士被擊敗了，倉倉皇皇逃跑，並不回頭呀！四圍盡是恐怖！永恆主發神諭說。

艾王看見了，艾城的人清早就急忙起床出來，王和他所有的眾人都到下坡向亞拉巴前面進發，要對以色列人接戰；王卻不知道在城後有伏兵要攻擊他。

萬族之民哪，明白吧，你們終必驚慌；遠地之眾民哪，側耳以聽哦！束起腰吧，你們終必驚慌；束起腰吧，你們終必驚慌。謀畫陰謀吧，終必歸於失敗；一言言定吧，終必不能成立；因為上帝與我們同在。

我必招集列國的人，帶他們下約沙法谷，在那裏判罰他們，是為了我人民我的產業以色列，就是列國人所給分散於列國中，又分取了我的地土的。
