Lift up a banner against the walls of Babylon! Reinforce the guard, station the watchmen, prepare an ambush! The Lord will carry out his purpose, his decree against the people of Babylon.

Lift up a banner! Attack Babylon’s walls! Put more guards on duty! Station more of them to watch over you! Hide and wait to attack them! I will do what I have planned. I will do what I have decided to do against the people of Babylon.

尼尼微啊，那打碎邦國的上來攻擊你。你要看守保障，謹防道路，使腰強壯，大大勉力。（

你們要在萬國中傳揚報告，豎立大旗；要報告，不可隱瞞，說：巴比倫被攻取，彼勒蒙羞，米羅達驚惶。巴比倫的神像都蒙羞；她的偶像都驚惶。

沒有人能以智慧、聰明、謀略敵擋耶和華。

要在境內豎立大旗，在各國中吹角，使列國預備攻擊巴比倫，將亞拉臘、米尼、亞實基拿各國招來攻擊她；又派軍長來攻擊她，使馬匹上來如螞蚱，

你要打水預備受困；要堅固你的保障，踹土和泥，修補磚窰。在那裏，火必燒滅你；刀必殺戮你，吞滅你如同蝻子。任你加增人數多如蝻子，多如蝗蟲吧！

當在萬民中宣告說：要預備打仗；激動勇士，使一切戰士上前來。要將犂頭打成刀劍，將鐮刀打成戈矛；軟弱的要說：我有勇力。四圍的列國啊，你們要速速地來，一同聚集。耶和華啊，求你使你的大能者降臨。萬民都當興起，上到約沙法谷；因為我必坐在那裏，審判四圍的列國。開鐮吧！因為莊稼熟了；踐踏吧！因為酒醡滿了。酒池盈溢；他們的罪惡甚大。許多許多的人在斷定谷，因為耶和華的日子臨近斷定谷。

耶和華成就了他所定的，應驗了他古時所命定的。他傾覆了，並不顧惜，使你的仇敵向你誇耀；使你敵人的角也被高舉。

你們要預備大小盾牌，往前上陣。你們套上車，騎上馬！頂盔站立，磨槍貫甲！我為何看見他們驚惶轉身退後呢？他們的勇士打敗了，急忙逃跑，並不回頭；驚嚇四圍都有！這是耶和華說的。

艾城的王看見這景況，就和全城的人，清早急忙起來，按所定的時候，出到亞拉巴前，要與以色列人交戰；王卻不知道在城後有伏兵。

列國的人民哪，任憑你們喧嚷，終必破壞；遠方的眾人哪，當側耳而聽！任憑你們束起腰來，終必破壞；你們束起腰來，終必破壞。任憑你們同謀，終歸無有；任憑你們言定，終不成立；因為神與我們同在。

我要聚集萬民，帶他們下到約沙法谷，在那裏施行審判；因為他們將我的百姓，就是我的產業以色列，分散在列國中，又分取我的地土，
