As I overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah along with their neighboring towns,” declares the Lord,“ so no one will live there; no people will dwell in it.

I destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. I also destroyed the towns that were near them,” announces the Lord.“ Babylon will be just like them. No one will live there. No human beings will stay there.

As when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring cities, declares the Lord, so no man shall dwell there, and no son of man shall sojourn in her.

当时，耶和华将硫磺与火从天上耶和华那里降与所多玛和蛾摩拉，把那些城和全平原，并城里所有的居民，连地上生长的，都毁灭了。

耶和华说：必无人住在那里，也无人在其中寄居，要像所多玛、蛾摩拉，和邻近的城邑倾覆的时候一样。

又判定所多玛、蛾摩拉，将二城倾覆，焚烧成灰，作为后世不敬虔人的鉴戒；

又如所多玛、蛾摩拉和周围城邑的人，也照他们一味地行淫，随从逆性的情欲，就受永火的刑罚，作为鉴戒。

又好像罗得的日子；人又吃又喝，又买又卖，又耕种又盖造。到罗得出所多玛的那日，就有火与硫磺从天上降下来，把他们全都灭了。人子显现的日子也要这样。

巴比伦素来为列国的荣耀，为迦勒底人所矜夸的华美，必像神所倾覆的所多玛、蛾摩拉一样。其内必永无人烟，世世代代无人居住。阿拉伯人也不在那里支搭帐棚；牧羊的人也不使羊群卧在那里。

万军之耶和华以色列的神说：“我指着我的永生起誓：摩押必像所多玛，亚扪人必像蛾摩拉，都变为刺草、盐坑、永远荒废之地。我百姓所剩下的必掳掠他们；我国中所余剩的必得着他们的地。”

又看见遍地有硫磺，有盐卤，有火迹，没有耕种，没有出产，连草都不生长，好像耶和华在忿怒中所倾覆的所多玛、蛾摩拉、押玛、洗扁一样。

他们的尸首就倒在大城里的街上；这城按着灵意叫所多玛，又叫埃及，就是他们的主钉十字架之处。

“以法莲哪，我怎能舍弃你？以色列啊，我怎能弃绝你？我怎能使你如押玛？怎能使你如洗扁？我回心转意，我的怜爱大大发动。我必不发猛烈的怒气，也不再毁灭以法莲。因我是神，并非世人，是你们中间的圣者；我必不在怒中临到你们。

所以在一天之内，她的灾殃要一齐来到，就是死亡、悲哀、饥荒。她又要被火烧尽了，因为审判她的主神大有能力。”地上的君王，素来与她行淫、一同奢华的，看见烧她的烟，就必为她哭泣哀号。

若不是万军之耶和华给我们稍留余种，我们早已像所多玛、蛾摩拉的样子了。

人必不从你那里取石头为房角石，也不取石头为根基石；你必永远荒凉。这是耶和华说的。”

“我倾覆你们中间的城邑，如同我从前倾覆所多玛、蛾摩拉一样，使你们好像从火中抽出来的一根柴；你们仍不归向我。”这是耶和华说的。
