“ Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh,“ that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

But many of the priests and Levites and heads of fathers’ households, the old men who had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice. Many also shouted aloud for joy,so that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people; for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard far away.

He will set up a banner for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.The envy also of Ephraim will depart, and those who persecute Judah will be cut off. Ephraim won’t envy Judah, and Judah won’t persecute Ephraim.

I have not spoken in secret, in a place of the land of darkness. I didn’t say to the offspring of Jacob,‘ Seek me in vain.’ I, Yahweh, speak righteousness. I declare things that are right.

You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you.You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.I will be found by you,” says Yahweh,“ and I will turn again your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places where I have driven you, says Yahweh. I will bring you again to the place from where I caused you to be carried away captive.”

“ In those days and at that time, I will cause a Branch of righteousness to grow up to David. He will execute justice and righteousness in the land.

I will bring Israel again to his pasture, and he will feed on Carmel and Bashan. His soul will be satisfied on the hills of Ephraim and in Gilead.In those days, and in that time,” says Yahweh,“ the iniquity of Israel will be sought for, and there will be none; also the sins of Judah, and they won’t be found; for I will pardon them whom I leave as a remnant.

“ Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:‘ Now I will reverse the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy on the whole house of Israel. I will be jealous for my holy name.

Seek Yahweh while he may be found. Call on him while he is near.

Yahweh of Armies says:“ The children of Israel and the children of Judah are oppressed together. All who took them captive hold them fast. They refuse to let them go.Their Redeemer is strong: Yahweh of Armies is his name. He will thoroughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

They will come with weeping. I will lead them with petitions. I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way in which they won’t stumble; for I am a father to Israel. Ephraim is my firstborn.“ Hear Yahweh’s word, you nations, and declare it in the distant islands. Say,‘ He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.’

It will come to pass, when you are multiplied and increased in the land, in those days,” says Yahweh,“ they will no longer say,‘ the ark of Yahweh’s covenant!’ It will not come to mind. They won’t remember it. They won’t miss it, nor will another be made.At that time they will call Jerusalem‘ Yahweh’s Throne;’ and all the nations will be gathered to it, to Yahweh’s name, to Jerusalem. They will no longer walk after the stubbornness of their evil heart.In those days the house of Judah will walk with the house of Israel, and they will come together out of the land of the north to the land that I gave for an inheritance to your fathers.

and the inhabitants of one shall go to another, saying,‘ Let’s go speedily to entreat the favor of Yahweh, and to seek Yahweh of Armies. I will go also.’Yes, many peoples and strong nations will come to seek Yahweh of Armies in Jerusalem, and to entreat the favor of Yahweh.”Yahweh of Armies says:“ In those days, ten men will take hold, out of all the languages of the nations, they will take hold of the skirt of him who is a Jew, saying,‘ We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’”

For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed has come.

“ You, son of man, take one stick, and write on it,‘ For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions.’ Then take another stick, and write on it,‘ For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions.’Then join them for yourself to one another into one stick, that they may become one in your hand.“ When the children of your people speak to you, saying,‘ Won’t you show us what you mean by these?’tell them,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions; and I will put them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in my hand.The sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes.”’Say to them,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, where they have gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land.I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. One king will be king to them all. They will no longer be two nations. They won’t be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

‘ Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them; and I will reveal to them abundance of peace and truth.I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against me. I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned against me and by which they have transgressed against me.

I will pour on David’s house, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they will look to me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him, as one grieves for his firstborn.

Lament, mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to gloom.

Restore our fortunes again, Yahweh, like the streams in the Negev.Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, will certainly come again with joy, carrying his sheaves.

Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more.

For there will be a day that the watchmen on the hills of Ephraim cry,‘ Arise! Let’s go up to Zion to Yahweh our God.’”For Yahweh says,“ Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout for the chief of the nations. Publish, praise, and say,‘ Yahweh, save your people, the remnant of Israel!’

Therefore behold, the days come that I will execute judgment on the engraved images of Babylon; and her whole land will be confounded. All her slain will fall in the middle of her.Then the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein, will sing for joy over Babylon; for the destroyers will come to her from the north,” says Yahweh.

Therefore don’t be afraid, O Jacob my servant, says Yahweh. Don’t be dismayed, Israel. For, behold, I will save you from afar, and save your offspring from the land of their captivity. Jacob will return, and will be quiet and at ease. No one will make him afraid.For I am with you, says Yahweh, to save you; for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have scattered you, but I will not make a full end of you; but I will correct you in measure, and will in no way leave you unpunished.”

“ Yet even now,” says Yahweh,“ turn to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning.”

For Yahweh will have compassion on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land. The foreigner will join himself with them, and they will unite with the house of Jacob.
