A sword against her false prophets! They will become fools. A sword against her warriors! They will be filled with terror.

A sword is coming against their prophets. But they are not really prophets at all! So they will look foolish. A sword is coming against their soldiers! They will be filled with terror.

爾之民人、無不畏葸、同於婦女、邦國之門必破、敵人入之、爾之關隘、俱焚以火、

偽善誑言、喪其本心、如火銷鑠、

言時、王阻之、曰、爾非言官、諫我奚為、獨不畏罪乎。先知不敢復諫、曰、爾弗聽從、我知上帝必敗爾。

邑已陷、津已塞、葦已焚、武士戰慄。

耶和華曰、當是時、壯者偃於逵衢、武士俱亡。

越在疇昔、尼尼微邑若滙水之區、今民逃遁、呼之使止、彼不敢回顧焉、

凡梟獍、巫覡、淫亂、兇暴、拜偶像、好誑言者、出之邑外、

或告大闢曰、亞希多弗從押沙龍、在叛黨之中。大闢曰、願耶和華以亞希多弗之謀、變為不智。

凡見爾者將遁逃遙立云、尼尼微邑傾圮矣、孰矜恤之、孰慰藉之、

無知而自衒、辯論是務、言啟爭端、媢嫉爭競、訕謗惡意、由此而生、

爾殛牧人、刲其群羊、爾誅農夫、擊其二牛、牧伯長者、為爾所淪亡、

凡猶豫不信、可憎兇暴淫亂巫覡、拜偶像、言誕妄者、皆必受苦於火坑、坑有硫火、沒後之沉淪如此、

牧伯將軍、多若蝗蟲、遇寒之時、棲於藩籬、日出群飛、蹤跡無存、亞述王乎、爾之牧伯顯宦、俱偃而卧、爾之庶民、散於岡巒、不得復聚、

以色列族之聖主耶和華曰、我欲救爾、遣人至巴比倫、毀諸門楗、迦勒底人駕舟、囂然不靖、終亦必亡。

巴比倫武士不敢出戰、堅守城垣、已喪厥膽、有若婦女、敵人驟至、燬宅第、折門楗。

押沙龍及以色列族眾曰、亞其人戶篩之議、較亞希多弗尤善。蓋耶和華欲廢亞希多弗議、以敗押沙龍。

我耶和華知彼盛怒、不從所言、彼雖誕妄、不能成事、

偽師於獸前行異跡、眩惑受獸印、拜獸像者、故偽師與獸、皆被執、生投火坑、坑有硫火、

惡者之至、藉撒但力、其妙用異跡奇事、無非偽為、詭詐百出、自棄者為所惑、蓋彼不願受真理致得救、為此、上帝任其大謬、信諸誑言、

爾自恃巧令、迷眩於惡、自謂人不及見、我為主母、無能比儗。故必遭患難、昧於所從、不能自脫、災害忽臨、難以逆料。自昔迄今、爾惑左道、信巫覡、試使立於此、能小補乎、能勝敵乎、爾謀夫孔多、有人仰觀天象、占察星辰、每值月朔、以卜未來、以定吉凶、使其咸興、庶可救爾。豈知彼乃草芥、被火焚燬、不能自救、皆為灰燼、不見微炭、不餘爝火、俾人溫暖。昔日左道之徒、與爾往來、今見爾邑敗亡、各歸己所、無人援爾。
