Yet their Redeemer is strong; the Lord Almighty is his name. He will vigorously defend their cause so that he may bring rest to their land, but unrest to those who live in Babylon.

But I am strong and will save them. My name is the Lord Who Rules Over All. I will stand up for them. I will bring peace and rest to their land. But I will bring trouble to those who live in Babylon.

Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is his name. He will surely plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, but unrest to the inhabitants of Babylon.

But the one who redeems them is strong. His name is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. He will defend them and give them rest again in Israel. But for the people of Babylon there will be no rest!

耶和華使你脫離痛苦、愁煩、被迫作的苦工，得享安息的日子，你必唱出這首詩歌來諷刺巴比倫王，說：“欺壓人的，怎麼止息了呢！強暴怎麼止住了呢！耶和華折斷了惡人的杖和統治者的棒，就是那在忿怒中不住擊打眾民、在怒氣中管轄列國、毫無抑制地施行迫害的。現在全地都平靜安息，各人都發聲歡呼。

那作雅各產業的並不像這些偶像，因為他是萬物的創造者；以色列是屬他的民族，萬軍之耶和華是他的名。

這些事以後，我聽見天上好像有一大群人大聲說：“哈利路亞！救恩、榮耀、權能都屬於我們的神，因為他的審判是真實公義的。他審判了那大淫婦，那以淫亂敗壞了世界的；並且為他的僕人向淫婦伸了流血的冤。”他們再一次說：“哈利路亞！燒淫婦的煙往上冒，直到永永遠遠！”

神既然是公義的，主耶穌和他有能力的天使從天上顯現在火燄中的時候，就使你們這些受災難的人，可以和我們同享安息；卻以災難報應那些把災難加給你們的人。

諸天啊！你們要歡呼，因為耶和華作成了這事。地的深處啊！你們要吶喊。群山啊！你們要發聲歡呼。樹林和其中所有的樹啊！你們都當這樣。因為耶和華救贖了雅各，他要藉著以色列使自己得榮耀。你的救贖主，就是那在母胎中就造了你的耶和華這樣說：“我耶和華是創造萬物的，我是獨自展開諸天，鋪張大地的。

所以，你要對以色列人說：‘我是耶和華，我要把你們從埃及人的重擔底下救出來；我要拯救你們脫離他們的奴役；我要用伸出來的膀臂，並藉著嚴厲的刑罰來救贖你們。
