但耶和華嗤笑邪惡人，因為祂知道他們末日將臨。

我被許多仇敵圍困，他們像巴珊的公牛那樣強壯。

逃過驚恐的必落入深坑，爬出深坑的必陷入網羅，因為我懲罰摩押的時候到了。這是耶和華說的。

第七位天使將碗倒在空中時，從殿裡的寶座上傳出響亮的聲音說：「成了！」隨後雷電交加，伴隨著巨響，還有空前劇烈的大地震。巴比倫大城裂作三段，其他各國的城邑也都倒塌了。上帝並沒有忘記巴比倫大城的罪惡，要把那杯盛滿祂烈怒的酒給她喝。

「人子啊，主耶和華說，『你要召喚各類飛鳥和野獸，讓牠們聚集起來，從四面八方來赴我為牠們預備的祭宴，就是以色列山嶺上的大祭宴，在那裡吃肉飲血。牠們將吃到勇士的肉，喝到君王的血，好像吃公綿羊、羊羔、公山羊、公牛這些巴珊的肥畜。牠們要在我為牠們設的祭宴中任意吃肉飲血，直到吃飽喝醉為止。牠們在我的宴席上要飽餐戰馬、車夫、勇士和軍人的肉。這是主耶和華說的。

各國都要臣服於他和他的子孫，直到他的國家滅亡。那時，許多國家和強大的君王必奴役他。

「人們聽見我的哀歎，卻無人安慰我。敵人看見你降給我的災難，都幸災樂禍。願你應許的審判之日來臨，叫他們像我一樣受苦！

主耶和華說：「看啊，災禍來了，一場空前的災禍來了！結局到了，結局到了，你的結局到了！以色列境內的居民啊，惡運降臨了！時候已到，日子已近，山上一片恐慌，歡樂蕩然無存。

「主——萬軍之耶和華說，『狂傲的人啊，我要與你為敵，我懲罰你的時候到了。

我又看見一位天使站在太陽裡，對空中飛翔的鳥大聲呼喚：

搶奪我產業的巴比倫人啊，你們歡喜快樂，像草場上歡跳的母牛犢，又像嘶鳴的公馬。
